Link shakes his head, "i lost my triforce, dropped the master sword,  was captured not once but twice.  There's no way i'm the hero. I don't want someone who serves me, i want a friend..."

Soren rolls his eyes,  "alright both of you knock it off. We get it. You both think you're terrible at your own jobs. Link, you'll be training to get better at fighting. Sheik..... if link requires a friend then perhaps that's a way you can be useful to him if you feel like you must serve him. At least until he feels like he is worthy of his title."

[Namari]

Sheik stays silent for a minute before standing, " very well. i will stay here... as support. i should stay within the confines of the castle anyway, if i leave, i risk putting the others i am with in danger as well. Soren nearly got captured thanks to my presence..."

Soren huffs, "enough of that. Its not your fault that zant seems to be a freak of sorts." Soren stands up, "now. As much as i would love us all to have a small party in here i'm sure ghirahim wouldnt mind getting some rest without a sword pointed at him. Link since you are awake you will need to be examined by aria and i'm sure impa and her highness wouldnt mind talking to you. Ike as well. I'm hoping he has calmed down enough to think rationally."

Link huffs and pushes himself to the edge of the bed

Ghirahim snorts, " not like i don;t sleep plenty anyway... kills some of the boredom."

Sheik nods, " yes, of course. i will... return to my quarters." he heads back to his room, sitting on the edge of his bed.

Ike had told everyone Link had been found and made his way back to his room, grumbling as he goes over to Aiden, " whole damn world is going mad..."

Aiden blinks as he sits up, "hey, whats wrong?"

Soren helps link up and glances at ghirahim, "i'm sure link will make his way back to your room once he's been given the clear."

With soren's help he makes it to zelda's office where she and impa and aria are.

Ghirahim waves a hand, " yeah, he's welcome to come back in whenever he wants. not like i've got anything better to do." He lays back down.

Ike huffs, " Link! He woke up, but he decides to hide with that... that demon! from me! like he's afraid of me! You can hardly blame me for thinking he did something to him after what that bastard did before. aaaaugh. comfort me." he buries his face into Aidens stomach, nuzzling him.

Impa waits patiently for Link, " im glad he's awake, though where he decided to go... is concerning. but so long as our guest does not harm him, i suppose there's nothing to protest."

Zelda does her best to remain poised, "im...sure there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for this..."

Aria nods, "worse case scenario he could have some form of Stockholm syndrome."

Soren soon helps link in to the room and gets him sitting in a chair, "hey were here."

Link becomes a bit nervous and flustered when he glances between impa, zelda and aria, "h-hi..."

Aiden blinks and holds ike, "well.... to be fair you can be quite intimidating when you're angry."

Impa nods, " i suppose...if that is the case however we should attempt to find out, as separating them would be best for Links mental recovery." she quiets once Link enters the room, " it is good to see you up and about, we were worried about your health."

Ike huffs, " but i've been the one being there for him and protecting him since i got here... now suddenly his captor is his buddy? it just doesn't make sense... " he sighs and lays down, resting his head on Aidens lap.

Aiden hums and runs his hand through ike's hair,  "Stockholm  maybe? "

Link keeps his eyes at the ground,  "ye-yeah... it's.... it's good to be back here."

Aria gives a warm smile and opens her notebook, "how are you feeling today? "

Link is quiet for a minute,  "you know when you... stand up really fast and you're suddenly dizzy?"

Aria jots in her notebook,  "yes? "

Link sighs softly, "I've been feeling like that since i woke up last night. "

Aria frowns, "could be... a side effect from waking you up faster with the tea instead of letting you wake up naturally. "

Zelda twiddles her thumbs and nods,  "we'll keep an eye on it. So... ....you woke up last night? "

Link nods,  "...yeah."

Aria frowns,  "i do apologize.  A nurse was supposed to be awake to assist you."

Link bites his lip, "i...it was really dark so i couldnt see... i just wanted to leave the room to see if i really was home..."

Impa nods, " we'll do what we can to aid your recovery. please don;t hesitate to inform us of any needs you may have. there was a nurse watching over you, who fell asleep during her watch. rest assured she will be disciplined for the lapse and the resulting distress it caused you."


Ike grumbles, " maybe... but hell does it rankle me to see him cower from me and call out for him." he closes his eyes and enjoys his boyfriends touch.

Aiden sighs, "we also have no idea what he's been through. It could have triggered something that he honestly has no control over. Maybe once he's settled a bit more he'll come to you to talk. "

Link nods and rubs his arm, "so... apparently ive been out of it for a while? Whats been going on? "

Ike sighs, " i hope you're right... you're too good to me." he smiles and leans up a bit, pulling Aiden down for a kiss.

Impa nods, " yes, " you've been out for awhile. not a lot has happened, the princess has put up intensive barriers which has prevented any attacks. The largest thing of note was the mission to obtain the ingredients for the tea that revived you. Being in the gerudo territory it was females and those who could pass as one only. Zelda excluded as the barriers have put quite the strain on her. Myself, Lana, Sheik and Soren went. we also revived the fairy there while we were at it, though Zant attacked the boys. Thankfully somehow Volga became aware of their distress and came to their aid. So while it was not without trouble, there were no losses. oh, and i believe your fairy friend you've been looking for has been staying with Sheik, he freed all he was able to before we got him out of there."

Aiden blushes and smiles, kissing ike back, "just trying to be a good boyfriend."

Link is quiet as he takes in what impa is saying, "so... we have proxi back... and volga... volga is apparently a good guy?"

Zelda blinks and glances at impa, "he seems to be adjusting well... do you have any reason to believe he isnt? "

Link shakes his head,  "i don't think so. The only time i saw him was when they had to drag me around... so i can't say i had any good experiences with him. "

Aria slowly writes something down before looking at link, "yet you seem to have some sort of trust with the Demon Lord. Does that mean you had a good experience with him? "

Link glares at aria,  "the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

Aria shakes her head, "if you based your conclusions on experiences and you dont seem opposed to someone like him being here then i would assume something happened to you two. "

Link looks at the ground and huffs, "his name is ghirahim. Use it. You guys weren't there. It was fucking hell and he was the only one who seemed to care."

Zelda sighs, "despite... what he did to you before that. You truly believe that he cares?  What if he's just trying to use you? That this is a trick? "

Ike smiles, " well you're doing a wonderful job of it. im already far less tense over what happened."

Impa crosses her arms, " well considering what happened previously, this is simply...unexpected and frankly difficult to believe that suddenly he went from your worst fear to your protector. we are trying to understand why this is. Did he really do that much for you?"

Link blushes and looks down, "he... tried. He even raised his sword against cia... and he got punished by ganon for it... badly..." link bites his lip and turns pale as he remembers how bad ghirahim looked, "and when we talked... he truly seemed to not understand why we help each other out. He said since the day he was created he's been living in a world where if you're strong you just take what you want and that ganon did stuff to him all the time. I... was hoping that if he saw how the our world actually worked he'd realize just how awful he's had it." Link huffs and glares at the floor, "but apparently he's had it so bad here he doesnt know if he should even stick around. So, thanks for that."

Zelda clears her throat a bit and sighs, "you cant honestly blame us for that. Not long ago you saw a picture of him in the library and freaked out over it. We're just trying to be careful to keep you safe."

Aiden smiles and continues running his hand through ike's hair, "well good, i'm glad."
