The air in the room is thick and link feels bile rising in the back of his throat. He waits until impa leaves before looking at lana, "lana.... i want my triforce back."

Lana hesitates before sighing and holding it out for him.

Link quickly takes it back and swiftly leaves the room before anyone has a chance to say anything. He can feel the tears that threaten to escape as he looks at ghirahim, "can we- can we go to bed early? I-i want to leave at-at sunrise...."

Ghirahim nods slowly, picking him up and going back to his room and setting Link down on the bed.

Impa looks at Lana as she leaves the room, " until i can find someone else, do you think you can help look over some of the papers and sort out some that can wait and those that need my attention? perhaps we can put out a message that nothing but urgent requests will be accepted. i also need to speak with Ike about taking over training the troops entirely for the time being. I need to train, and i've been running on fumes as it is. I need to take a trip to the sheikah village, there are elixirs that can help extend my stamina and cognitive function so i can forgo some more sleep. It is far from ideal, but i don;t see much other option right now, and i should be able to keep it up for a couple weeks before it starts to take a toll." she rubs her temples and sighs softly.

Lana frowns and nods, "okay....i can help however is necessary."
Zelda stares at her desk, a bit in shock as to what just happened, "i... was not expecting any of this to occur. Maybe a talk was not a good idea..."

Aria frowns and goes over to zelda, "it is not your fault your highness. Men are just stubborn like that."

Link snuggles into the bed and covers his face with his arm and sniffles a bit as fresh tears fall down his face.

Impa nods, " i appreciate it. perhaps i can get that Soren fellow to aid as well, he seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. I'd rather not put the kingdom into a full war state, it tends to be hard on the economy and ours is fragile as it is...im just not sure what to do otherwise. Her highness is stil in no position to take over any of her duties, and evidently i am needed on the front lines so i cannot allow my body condition to deteriorate." She shakes her head, " i will talk with Ike tonight, and head out tomorrow so i can be back as soon as possible." she heads to Ikes room and knocks.

Ike blinks and gets up, answering the door, and they discuss what just happened, Ike agrees to take over as general for the time being.

Ghirahim rubs links back, " i mean, if you think this is the right way to do this, then it shouldn't matter what she said because it won;t happen?"

Link sniffles and nods, "i- i know its what i-i have to do." He wipes his face and takes a few deep breaths, "i just- i knew, both times i got captured, i KNEW something wasnt right. I- i knew that their plan was no good and that i would be in danger. The first time no one listened.... the second time i told ike... i think ike had apologized but i cant remember... other than that everyone acts like it was supposed to happen... that they have nothing to apologize for as- as if the goddesses will just- just SPIT OUT another DAMN hero if they play too rough with me!" link snarls in anger as more hot tears run down his face, "So how DARE she tell me that I'M putting lives in danger!! It fucking pisses me off that she thinks that she isnt the problem here! I WOULDNT BE IN THIS CONDITION IF THEY JUST-" link hiccups and curls against ghirahim and sobs softly, "no-no one listens...to me..."

Ghirahim awkwardly pats Link on the back, not sure how to console the obviously distressed smaller male.

After a few minutes of link crying he ends up exhausting himself and falls asleep while holding on to ghirahim.

Ghirahim gently scoots them both down under the covers once Link is asleep and goes to sleep himself.

As the sun just barely begins to touch the horizon link forces himself out of bed. His face hurts and he feels stiff. He quietly slips out of ghirahim's room and enters his own. It feels so empty and hallow to him now. Link glances at himself in his mirror and cringes at his own image. He looks tired and his eyes hold no excitement like they did before. He looks down and shakes his head before grabbing some of his belongings, his stash of health potions, and the master sword.

Sheik is already awake, having been up most of the night practicing with his needles in one of the training areas, while nobody is around to see him fumble and fail.

Ghirahim grumbles and cracks an eye open just in time to see Link go out his door. He yawns and slowly starts to sit up, forcing himself to wake up despite wanting to go right back to sleep.

Impa is up early as well, finishing off some papers before she makes a large pile of new stuff with a note for Lana to read through them and hopefully make a smaller pile of ones that really need attention, verses ones she can leave for later. With that done she heads out to the stable, saddling her horse and making her way swiftly to the sheikah village.

Link gets his hero clothes on and frowns at the noticeable sag. He closes his eyes for a few minutes to keep himself from throwing a tantrum before walking out his door. He glances down the hall towards ike's room and nervously swallows. He wanted to see him so badly. To let him know he'd be back. Link tears his eyes away and shudders. He knows better. Ike would probably be sleeping with.... this aiden guy and link really didnt want to know what the guy looked like. He blinks back the tears and sighs softly before heading back to ghirahim's room. He'd get ghirahim up, go to the stables, grab epona and head out.

Ike was still asleep, cuddled with Aiden.

Ghirahim slowly gets dressed, looking at his clothes that stand out like a sore thumb and sighing. It didn;t matter, he looked distinct enough that people would know regardless of what he wore, so might as well wear his clothes with pride. He packs up the few things he has and teleports to the dining hall, getting food for himself and Link before going back and sitting at his little table to wait for the hero to return.

Link gets back to ghirahim's room and blinks when he sees him at the table, "ah... you're up. Mornin."

Ghirahim nods, " morning. sit, eat. i got you scrambled eggs, figured they were light for your stomach. some soup with that broth too."

Link frowns a bit at the broth but nods, "thank you. Its appreciated." He goes over to the table and sits down in front of his plate and begins eating the eggs slowly, not wanting to rush his stomach
