Alex pokes at her food, "oh... okay."

Ghirahim raises an eyebrow and looks at Link, looking very confused at the sudden dejected child. he sighs and shakes his head, trying to finish his food quickly.

Soon the family finishes eating and when sam polishes his plate he looks at May, "Mama can I go out to play??"

May looks at sam and his plate, "Well... okay. but stay near the house! It's not safe by the woods!"

Alex jumps out of her chair and gasps, "I WANNA PLAY OUTSIDE TOO!"

May and tergo flinch when alex shouts. May huffs and gently stands up, "Alex, we've talked about using your inside voice. And you hardly touched your carrots."

Alex blinks before pouting, "I... dont like carrots."

Tergo looks at his daughter and raises an eyebrow, "You loved them yesterday."

Alex huffs and stomps her foot, "I! DONT! LIKE! CARROTS!!"

This time both parents and Link himself flinch as well.

May sighs and gives everyone a quick apology before quickly scooping up her daughter, "She must be tired. I'll take her upstairs."

Alex squirms from May's grasp and starts crying about not wanting to go upstairs.

Link and tergo watches may leave with Alex before looking at each other and shaking their heads

Ghirahim flinches at the first shout and covers his ears at the second, " why would anyone want such things around?"

Tergo sighs and takes sam outside before he starts to throw a tantrum.

Link looks at Ghirahim and blinks, "Because they made them? The kids will grow out of this behavior soon."

Ghirahim scowls, " but why would they make them? seriously... and unless soon is like, in a day or too, i say not worth it."

Link chuckles and smiles, "I remember when they were born... how tiny they were, and how they slept most of the time...I helped teach them how to take their first steps and... their first words were my name. It's hard to understand, i know, but.... it's something so wonderful about the human life..."

Ghirahim makes a disgusted face, " and that sounds like it was quite some time ago, so i take it these things take a long time to row into halfway tolerable humans then?"

Link nods, "Of course. Thats how all humans are. including myself. I used to be that tiny too."

Ghirahim shudders, " okay, lets try to not imagine you as a high pitched annoying creature whom im fairly certain i saw snot literally running from their noses. uuugh. what a turn off."

Link blinks and frowns, "Ah... I suppose I wasnt quite like that... Although that is how kids are supposed to be. I had a rough childhood so I never got to experience that stuff..."

Ghirahim shakes his head, " well whatever. as long as i don;t have to deal with it im fine." he stands up, " ready to go out to the barn then?"

Link nods and pushes himself up, his legs still a bit wobbly, "Ugh I cant wait to not be this weak."

Ghirahim chuckles, " i bet." he puts an arm around Links waist and teleports them onto their beds, " but thankfully you have me, who can do things like this."

Link gives a soft yelp since he wasnt expecting a sudden teleportation, "Well, I am very thankful. Is there any way I can show you my appreciation?"
