Ike chuckles, " looks like it's just you and me for awhile then."

Twilight huffs and sits down, "exactly what i wanted." his tone is full of sarcasm

Ike snickers, " aw, don;t you wanna talk about boys and braid each others hair?"

Twilight snarls, "Neither of us have hair that is long enough to braid."

Ike chuckles, " i know. come on, i know you're dead and all but learn some humor."

Twilight frowns and looks down, "I'm not the hero to go to for humor, sorry."

Ike sighs, " i know, i guess im just trying to help. i know it's a pain in the ass to deal with us so often, and i really appreciate the help you're giving us. I know it's helping Link a lot."

twilight looks at ike and brings his knees up to his chest, "I... i hope so. Admittedly im not good at this, and i dont know why it has to be me. The kid would do so much better with someone like the hero of time, or better yet, if the hero of legend could actually show up and do something that'd be great."

Ike gets up and moves closer, placing a hand onto the others shoulder, " you're doing great, really. that journal was a huge help, and he's already gotten a lot stronger. and so have i under your teaching, every little bit helps. there's no sense wishing we had someone else, you're what we've got and it's working, so it'll do."

Twilight's face turns a light pink and he clears his throat before looking away, "Alright, alright i get it. Um thanks... thank you, really. I'm glad to know im not failing terribly. I've never been good at the being nice thing. even when i was alive all i ever wanted to do was just... live in peace and talk to the animals. as stupid as that sounds."

Ike plops down next to him, " i get that, it's a peaceful life. people can be obnoxious, especially overly chipper ones like me." he laughs softly, "everyone is different, and that's okay."

Twilight blinks and watches ike. he frowns and looks down, "You really are a great guy. I'm glad the kid has someone like you looking out for him. Especially with him being back at the castle. I was afraid he wouldnt do adjust properly since the castle isnt.... great."

Ike blushes slightly, " im not all that great. and what's wrong with the castle?"

Twilight shrugs, "it was filled with the souls of the dead last i was in there. Half of my journey was stuck as a wolf as i'm sure you've been told and i... i could see them. Everyone died trapped in the dungeon down below. Im sure they're still down there and i was afraid... i just assumed the kid would be sensitive to that stuff since all hero's are." He gives a grim smile, "we kinda attract bad shit ya know?"

Ike blinks, " the wolf thing was mentioned, not to that extent though. yeesh." he looks down, " i don;t know if he knows about it or not. we'd have to ask him. he's never said anything to me about it."
