Ike walks over and places a kiss on Aidens forehead, " hey hon. can i steal you for a bit for a chat?"

Aiden smiles and hums softly, "of course!" He takes ike's hand, "i have all the time in the world for you!"

Ike pulls him away from the others and takes a seat on a bench, " You know i love you and want to spend as much time with you as i can, but duty is important to me. Link hasn;t been sleeping, and we need him in top shape. he sleeps better when he has someone nearby when he sleeps. i promise you that's all that will happen, is sleeping, i would never cheat on you. but i need to start spending some if not all nights with him so he can get some rest."

Aiden's smile slowly disappears as ike keeps talking, "why... does it have to be you?! Make someone else do it! "

[Namari]

Ike sighs, " it needs to be someone he trusts, there's not many of those. we all need to do our part to make sure we can win this fight, and part of that means i need to make sure he's getting some rest. i'll set some time aside for you during the day, i promise. please understand i have to do this, i need to make sure this world is safe for you and everyone else." he lifts Aidens hand to his lips and kisses it.

Aiden scowls and quickly pulls his hand away and standing up,  "you don't spend time with me during the day at all already!! Bed time was damn near the only thing we've been able to share and NOW you're going to spend nights with the hero?!"

His voice is loud enough to carry causing nearby people to turn their heads and look over, curious about this 'infidelity'

Ike winces, " i know it's not ideal, that's why i said i'd make sure to get you some time during the day. i know it sucks, but the world is kind of depending on him keeping healthy."

[MissyLooni]

Aiden crosses his arms, "he's an adult! He can take care of himself! Do you actually love me or not?!"

[Namari]

Ike frowns, " of course i do. he may be an adult but that does not mean he doesn't need help, especially with all that's expected of him. i hoped you would understand. I need to do what i have to in order to keep him healthy and sane, and get him into peak condition. If he's not in fighting form my friend stays with that monster, in his grasp, having god knows what done to him. i love you, but i will not sacrifice someone who has been my right hand man for so many years." he stands up, " im trying to make this work, but i will not place my relationship over my friends lives and health."

Aiden huffs, "fine! Have fun with the hero! I hope you enjoy warming his bed!" Aiden chokes back a sob before he turns around and runs off

Ike sighs and rubs his temple, " always the over dramatic. i wish it would not come to this..." he heads to the training grounds and starts working, ignoring looks from anyone who overheard Aidens outbursts. He still thought Link was sleeping, so he wouldn't go see him for a few hours.

Caleb holds the large tray of food, heading back to ghirahim's room in hopes to surprise him with some brunch.

Link leaves his room, unable to deal with being alone

Ghirahim rests on the bed, having done some errands transporting large items. It wasn;t as much of a drain with all the energy he was getting, but he tried to keep most of it in reserve for Volga. plus it did take effort, so even if he could do more he still wanted to rest.

caleb gets to ghirahims door and gently taps the door with his shoe, "ghirahim! its me! can you open the door please? my hands are full!"

He blinks and gets up, rubbing his temple from the slight headache. He opens the door and blinks for a moment before smirking, " oooo look at this fine meal. and hey, you brought food too." he helps grab some of the stuff to make it easier to Caleb.
