Ike frowns, " she has something? like what? what else do we need besides them? this had better not be more of your tricks... and yes volga, that sounds like an excellent plan."

Lana blushes and rubs the back of her head, "I know my...actions have not led me down a smooth path with you all but I assure you that since this rescue in no way affects the Goddesses plan then I am free to assist how you see fit. And... I am able to see all events that have already taken place as some of you are aware so I say this with absolute knowledge that your friend Soren as well as Sheik... lost a part of themselves and were replaced with something sinister thanks to Cia. In order to return them to normal I will have to retrieve what Cia took."

Volga grinds his teeth knowing exactly what Lana is talking about.

Link and Zelda blink in confusion.

Ike and Sothe also look confused.

Ghirahim tilts his head, frankly he never paid a while lot of attention to that witch so he didn't know what she was taking about, " uh, okay then..."

Lana sighs, knowing she will have to be blunt, "Soren fought against Ganon too much and Cia decided to take away Soren's spirit and replace it with one more.... agreeable and easy to handle. The same goes for Sheik. If we were to just take the two without getting back their spirits then neither of them will want to be here and fight to go back and they wont know who you guys are. Im giving you a warning now. When we get there, dont be surprised by anything out of character that you may see them do. It may be their bodies but it wont be them, at least not until I can switch them back."

Ike turns pale, " wh-what the hell?! she can do that?! Soren...."

Ghirahim blinks, " well that's... interesting."

Zelda sighs and taps her finger against the table, "Okay. So you'll need to go Lana. And you will focus on Cia. If you complete want you need to do then you will support getting the others back. Perhaps have a portal ready so at the very least being able to get the two through... we'll work through that near the end of this meeting... but i uh... I wont be going with this time. I know that I tend to insist to go along but since I know that Ghirahim can take my strength, and therefor send extra to volga, through the goddess statues I think it'd be best if I stayed back and focus on that. Plus... its highly unlikely, but if for whatever reason our plan fails it wouldnt be good to give Ganon the chance to take both of the triforce pieces."

Link blinks before frowning, "I understand your feelings on the matter, but I know we wont fail this time. This mission will succeed!"

Impa nods, " i think it's wise if you stay back this time. it would not do to leave the castle defenseless. i will remain as well for that same reason and to protect the princess."

Ike sighs, " alright then, as much as i want to be one of the ones to go in, I'd better stay outside and help fight against ganon and Zant. Link, you should probably be with me. Volga will be near us as well, since the main force will be there. Sothe, go with Lana and Ghirahim to go get Soren and Sheik."

Link looks at Ike and nods, "Sounds good to me."

Volga nods, "I will not allow myself to fail this time."

Zelda looks at Impa and nods, "Sounds like a plan. I will collect as much energy from the Sanctuary as possible before the mission begins."

Ike nods, " we shall strike at daybreak? Link, twilight i believe offered to take control to give aid, if you wished to go visit him so we may add his strength to yours."

Link glances at ike and glances away, "i'll think about it..."

Zelda nods and goes through a few more things about the mission before standing up, "alright, with that being said, is there anything anyone would like to add?"

Ike shakes his head, " im good."

Ghirahim shrugs and leans back, he'd follow what they wanted, but he wasn't particularly invested in it.

Zelda nods, "alright. With that we'll end the meeting. Thank you."

Ike gets up and sighs softly, his friend might not be the person he knew? that was a terrifying thought, it would look like the man who'd been his right hand for so long, but not act like him. He runs a hand through his hair as he heads towards his room.

Ghirahim gets up, " well if nobody needs me in going back to my room." he teleports back to Caleb.

Link watches ike leave, frowning softly. He knew ike would have a lot to process if what lana said was true and link couldnt help but feel like he should follow ike. He huffs more to himself as he decides that its fair to follow the mercenary considering how much ike is at his side to help. He gets up, quickly following ike, "hey, so, what are your plans for this evening? "

Caleb sees ghirahim enter the room, "hey welcome back! How was the meeting?"

Ike blinks when he sees Link next to him, the other had seemed to be mostly avoiding him lately so to have him following..." uh, i hadn't settled on anything. though if im being honest, it probably entails alcohol."


Ghirahim sits at the table, " boring. we go tomorrow morning."
