Soren wipes at his face again, "Could I though? Realistically? Im.... I got a bastard in me Ike. What would the others think? And there's no way i could have a kid." he tightens his grip on his legs, "What if i cant fight by your side anymore because of this? I cant do that! I dont want that! I want to fight and protect you and I cant do that now that im a freak!"

Ghirahim grins, " that would about sum it up~"

Ike grabs Soren and hugs him, " shhhhh calm down. you don't have to keep it after you have it, and even if you do, it's not like anyone back home will know that you bore it. nobody would ever have to know except me and Sothe. we can always just say you took a liking to a woman here and something happened to her. it happens. You'll be able to fight by my side again, i swear it. And even if you couldn't, your wisdom and advice was always just as valuable to me as your fighting prowess. there will ALWAYS be a place for you next to me for as long as you want it."

Soren holds onto ike and he hiccups softly, "How can you be so calm about this? Im fucking pregnant with this world's greatest enemy. how..... how am i even going to... giv- I cant do this ike. I cant! How does a guy even..."

Caleb doesnt let ghirahim finish that sentence as he goes back to kissing him

Ike sighs, " i've... had a few days to come to terms with it. i've been looking for information and trying to figure out a solution, but the only way is to just have it i guess. you'll have to. and just because one of the parents is evil regardless of whos it is, doesn;t mean it has to be. you have a couple months to think about what you want to do, it;'s shorter then we're used to. but whatever you want to do, i support you. This does not change the fact that you're one of my best and oldest friends."

Soren shudders, "months? ugh thats such a short amount of time.... but at least this means it'll be over with faster.... and i dont want the baby. fuck no i dont want it. it'll just be a reminder as to what happened."

Ike nods, " then we'll leave what to do with it up to the people here. And like i said, i'll never tell anyone, so nobody will ever know back home."

Soren nods and continues hugging ike. he still had no fucking clue how he was supposed give birth to this bastard. he didnt want to think about it either. he had been through a lot but this was the first time he felt terrified

Ike sighs softly, just holding onto Soren, " we'll get through this... one way or another. come on, lets go someplace more comfortable than the bathroom floor."

Soren gives a half hearted nod and pushes himself to his feet,  "so... aside from you... and the nurse... does anyone else know? "

Ike gets up and holds out a hand to help Soren up, " um, the only people that know for sure are me, the nurse, Link, and well, the dead twilight hero. i don;t think he'll be telling many people though. anyway i was just trying to get information. Sothe doesn;t even know yet, and i won;t tell him if you don't want me to. Sheik is also in the same situation, im not sure who all he's spoken with about it. Those he's talked to may put 2 and 2 together and suspect you are also... im not sure."

Soren shudders,  "I'd rather no one know but... eventually it'll be obvious..."

Ike nods, " though we can simply say you've been traumatized by the experience and keep you away from people until...after. but it's up to you. anyway, because it's a much shorter time than normal, you need more nutrients to make up for it. think you can stomach some food?"

Soren looks at ike and gives a tired sigh, "honestly.... no. I really just want to sleep for the rest of my life.... however that would feel like ive given up, so i feel conflicted."

Ike snorts, " you've had a traumatic day, i think we can forgive you feeling a bit off. i'll go get some food, the smell might get your appetite going. i'll be back in just a bit, i promise." he gets up and heads to the food court, getting food for them both before coming back and setting the trays on the table.

Soren took this time to sit at the table, nervously tapping on the table. His whole demeanor is different and the usual confidence and prudent air around him was gone. The knowledge of a baby inside of him had really broken sorens usual wall that he hides his emotions in and it was showing.
