Ike frowns, " well they did say that it takes a lot from the host since it progresses much swifter than normal. anything i can get for you?"

Soren hums softly, "Well i suppose I am going to need some more books from the library if that is alright? i'd get them myself but im sure you'd snap if you saw me carrying about 30 pounds of paper."

Ike laughs, " damn right. im not sure which books you want so if you want to come with you can pick out the ones you want and i'll do the carrying?"

Soren blinks before shrugging and moving the covers, "I suppose that should be fine. I could probably use a little walk anyway." He gets out of bed

Ike nods, " that's what i figure. a little light exercise ought to be good for you. and i really don;t have any idea what books you want."

Soren snorts,  "to be fair that library has history that seems more like fiction. It's a shame this isn't all a dream. " he straightens out his clothes and starts heading to the library

Ike laughs softly, " no shit. i talked to a sword today. there's some spirit or something in it. gotta say that tops the weird meter here for me so far." he follows along, glad to be spending some time with his friend.

Soren gives him an incredulous look, "talked? Ike im sorry but swords dont talk. Thats ridiculous."

Ike gives him a sidelong look, " yeah, and fairies don't exist, magical healing waters aren't real, and men can't get knocked up."

Soren blushes and he looks down, huffing, "this world is so fucked up. i cant wait to go home and have this nightmare end."

Ike chuckles, " well with any luck we'll be taking some of this crazy stuff home to improve life and our medical situations."

Soren nods and he carefully walks down a flight of stairs as they get closer to the library, "Yes, i do hope we can... what do you think the others are doing at the moment? The longer we are here the more I find myself thinking of our comrades..."

Ike sighs, " im not sure. probably just business as usual. it would be odd that we didn't arrive at the rendezvous point, but they're smart men. One of them would have taken charge and figured out where they needed to go next. We stayed pretty busy with bandits and such so im sure they're just going about that as normal."

Soren hums softly and enters the library, looking around, "Lets see. what havent i read yet."

Ike leans against one of the shelves as he waits for his friend to pick out what he wants.
