Ike goes over to the large concrete area with grates, going over to a button and pushing it. water starts intermittently spraying around the area.

Link watches the water spray and he takes a step back, "Are you planning on cooling off, or getting yourself soaked?"

Ike blinks, " well i was gonna cool off, that way we don;t have to sit around here for too long to dry back off. unless you want to do that, which is totally fine by me."

Link snorts, "I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to get me drenched. It would not be a good idea."

Ike raises an eyebrow, " why's that?"

Link balks and blushes, "This sweater would not do well soggy, im only wearing a light tank under neath, and my pants are skin tight so if they get wet it would be uncomfortable."

(game grumps are live streaming the hopeful end of skyward sword and they are doing the final fight with ghirahim where i gave up at so im enjoying arin fighting him)

Ike nods, " gotcha. minimal sprinkling then, duly noted." Ike places his hand over one of the streams of water and angles it so it'll spray Link lightly.

Link ducks his head a bit and closes his eyes tightly. Even though the water was light and his actions were a bit exaggerated, he couldnt help the sudden reaction.

Ike chuckles softly, " scared of a little water? alright i'll stop." he moves his hand so he sprays himself down, " damn that feels good. alright, lightly sprayed, check. what next?" he pulls his hand from the water and shakes the water from it.

Link watches Ike and blushes a little before clearing his throat and looking away, "Ah...I suppose we could enjoy the lake a little."

Ike nods, " sure, sounds good to me. free stuff would be swimming or just hanging around the lake. but i didn;t bring trunks. or we can rent a boat, row or paddle, or rent some fishing gear and see what we can catch."

Link shrugs, "I dont mind either way. Although swimming is out of the question today. I dont have any trunks either and this isnt a private party where underwear is suitable." He smiles, "I have not really done anything that involves water though... like fishing or anything like that so i'm pretty much a newbie."

Ike chuckles, " yeah i think swimming is a pass for me too. so that leaves boating or fishing. either is good with me. i can help show you how to fish, or if ou just wanna chat and hang on the water, paddle boats are pretty straight forward. you just push the pedals like a bike."

Link hums softly and smiles, "We can do the boats. I feel like if I wanted to go fishing I'd like to go on an actual lake. Maybe be dressed a bit more appropriately for such things."

Ike snorts, " you don;t have to dress a certain way to fish. the fish don;t give a shit what you're wearing. this place is stocked mostly with little sunnies and stuff to amuse kids. paddle boat sounds good to me." he walks over to the rental booth, " heyo! we'd like to rent one of the paddle boats? not one of the giant swan ones preferably."
