Zelda nods, "i think a nice quiet evening relaxing would be good for you. Drink some tea or something."

Link grabs his homework and goes back down to the pool, "just wanted to grab my homework."

Ike gives a thumbs up before pulling the toy away to take a breather, " whew. nice, good place to get some work done."

Impa chuckles, " you're starting to sound like Sheik. very well, i'll take the evening to myself."

Zelda chuckles,  "it's always good to take a moment for yourself. "

Link chuckles and sits down,  pulling out his thick textbook

Impa nods, " yes... i suppose so." she smiles and gets some tea brewing, " i'll be in the library i think if you need me, there's a book that Paya showed me awhile back i've been meaning to read that looked good." She takes the kettle once it's done and a mug to the library with her.

Ike keeps working, blowing the toys up and then testing them in the water for leaks.

Link happily works on his assignments, looking over and watching ike every now and then, looking back at his books only when he thinks ike might see him watching

Ike doesn't look over much, focusing on his work, giving Link ample time to oogle him. He lets his mind wander, and found himself getting surprisingly irritated when he thought about Zelda's words and how Link was considering using alpha services for his heat. He quickly splashes some water onto his face and head to cool himself off and keep his pheromones from getting out of control. He determinedly thinks of other things, his other jobs and how things would go from here. the gravy train would only last so long, so he'd need to make sure he kept in good with his other jobs so he'd have someplace to turn back to if it came to that.

Link blinks and looks up when he hears the splashing and raises an eyebrow when he sees ike's wet, dripping face and hair, "is it too warm in here? Or did you need a little pick me up from lack of oxygen? You've been focused on those toys so I'd prefer you to take a break rather than pass out into the pool..."

Ike looks over and smiles to reassure Link, " ah, no worries. just needed a pick me up, and it looked so refreshing. im fine, i won't push past my limits." he hated lying, but he wasn;t about to admit he was getting possessive over an omega that didn;t even have any interest in him. It was stupid, and he had more self control than that.

Link tsks softly, frowning, "it'd be better if instead of using the pool water you just walked over to the shower stall. At least then you wouldnt get chemicals in your poor hair. But if it does get too warm let me know and we can adjust it. I know it's always a little humid in here but thats just what pool rooms do unfortunately."

Ike chuckles, " eh it's not like i try and keep my hair nice anyway, a few chemicals won;t make much difference. anyway i'll shower tonight anyway." though the shower was an interesting idea, if he really got peeved that might help, though he didn;t want to risk breaking anything or letting Link hear him getting angry. anyway he'd mostly cooled off, and gotten his pheromones under control. " don;t worry, this is fine. i've worked harder in hotter conditions, this is like a vacation."

Link snorts and chuckles softly, amused by ike's statement, "a vacation? Really? You're silly." He plays with his pen a bit before sighing, "i honestly am not surprised that you worked in less than ideal conditions. Its clear that you're an incredibly hard worker and you are very nice so...you being thankful at just having a job to pay the bills regardless of the work is very plausible." He blushes a little bit before looking back down at his book, "so even if its easier work, or short time, i'm glad i could find you something that i hope is a bit easier on you. Give you a little reprieve from what you're used to."

Ike chuckles softly, " i guess so. im not sure how long this job will last considering i pretty much got it all caught up and this is busywork, but it's definitely a nice break for now anyway. i do appreciate you giving me even this job for a short time."

Link nods,  "well impa said she'd think of other work to keep you busy and while there might be a small break during the winter once the summer kicks in and we can open up our outdoor pool you'll be busy all the fucking time. That pool outside is so fucking needy."

Ike blinks and chuckles, " well i don;t mind working hard, so if you guys still employ me at that time i'll do my best to keep it pristine."

Link frowns and nods, "of course we would still keep you on.  Its hard to find someone trustworthy even if its to clean the pool. And it wouldnt be to just keep it cleaned but also the sub pumps are a bitch. If they aren't at the exact levels needed then they dont want to work. "
