Link watches them and sighs softly before looking back down at ike. His siblings didnt seem that worried so.... should link honestly feel this worried? he couldnt help it, he wanted to make sure he was there for ike no matter what

Sheik makes sure Zelda and Paya are settled at home and texts Link, asking what he wants besides a change of clothes.

Sothe heads home, getting ready for work before leaving.

link feels his phone vibrate and he checks it before frowning slightly. what honestly can sheik bring him? he hums softly, its late so the cafeteria is closed and while there are water fountains around id feel better if i had some... kind of beverage with electrolytes and maybe some light snacks like some fruit. oh, and my meds. just in case im here long enough to risk missing a dose.

got it. i'll be there soon. Sheik snorts, he had it bad. He gathers Links meds and packs up some sports drinks and non-perishable snacks, including the protein bars that Link usually subsists on during his heats. He drives out to the hospital in Links van, his bike in the back, and checks in, bringing the small dufflebag to Ike room and knocking gently before coming in and setting it down. " this should keep you going a few days. I drove your van here, i'll take my bike back. here's your keys." he hands the keys over.

Link takes his keys and nods, "thanks. I appreciate it a lot. Normally I'd be a bit cautious about drinking fluids so late but if I'm going to be honest I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight."

Sheik nods, " i figured. just text me if you need anything. if you're not out of here in a few days i'll watch him for awhile so you can shower." he looks at Link with a little amusement.

Link turns a little red and he clears his throat a little, "Ah well hopefully that wont happen. im sure.... ike will be up before i need a shower."

Sheik snorts, " and do you really think you're going to tear yourself away once he's awake?"

link rubs his arm, "i guess it would depend if ike would want me to be by his side."

Sheik snorts, " the dude came to the house with candy and flowers. considering he seems to be a live loose and free kind of guy, i doubt that was a small gesture."

Link blushes and nods, "i.... I understand how important his confession was now that I'm thinking clearly again. With that being said, he did... technically get the boot so I have no idea if he still wanted me around."

Sheik snorts, " are you kidding? the idiot has been pussyfooting around to not fuck things up again. you both need to sit down and talk."

Link sighs and nods, "agreed. I think... I like him a lot. I didn't think it would take me jumping ganon to figure that out but here we are."

Sheik chuckles, " well, you both seem to be particularly bull headed so im not too surprised."

Link can't help but smile softly. He holds ike's hand, gently rubbing his thumb against the alpha's hand as he sighs softly, "thanks again for the change of clothes sheik...."
