Sheik nods, " just text me if you need anything alright? and keep me updated. try to get some sleep." he sighs and runs a hand through his hair, " suppose i should head out, let the girls and Impa know the situation."

Link looks at sheik and nods, "I will. Thank you sheik. i will keep you updated if anything happens, okay?"

Sheik nods, " take care of yourself. i'll check in on you in the morning." he heads out and rides his motorcycle home.

Link glances out at the dark sky and sighs before scooting closer to ike's bed so that he could lean forward and rest his upper body on the bed, hand still holding ike's as he falls asleep for the night.

Sheik heads home and lets everyone know what the situation is before going to bed.

another day passes before Ike slowly wakes up, groaning softly. he'd been hit over the head pretty hard after all.

Link stops doing his assignment when he hears ike. He gently sets his stuff down before gently taking ike's hand, speaking quietly in case the alpha's head hurt, "i-ike?"

Ike cracks his eyes open and shuts them again, " bright..."

Link blinks before letting go of ike's hand briefly so that he can close the curtains before going back over to ike, "I uh, dont think i can turn the lights off without upsetting any nurses. should i call the doctor for you? I-I- maybe i should. Um...." link goes to his bag and ruffles around in it before grabbing his sunglasses. he goes over to ike and hums, "Maybe my sunglasses might help?"

Ike sighs a bit when the curtains are shut, " naw that's better... gimme a minute."

link feels a little bit better, still grasping the sunglasses as he hovers by ike's side, waiting for the next thing he could do for ike, "o-of course. take your time."

Ike squints until his eyes adjust a bit and he can open them more, " mmm fuck... feel like i got hit by a truck."

Link feels his shoulders relax slightly and he sits back down, "well at least getting hit by a truck would have given you less injuries perhaps. if you're feeling that rough i can still get the doctor or a nurse and get some more pain meds into your IV."

Ike grimaces, " too expensive... bad enough im here." he starts to struggle to sit up.

Link blinks, "Ah, its okay to get plenty of rest. you're not getting this bill. so take the time to rest. if anything more happens to you i'll die from a heart attack."

Ike blinks and shakes his head, " i can't let you do that, it's gonna be an arm and a leg. you know damn well i don't have insurance. nothing's gonna happen to me, im, ow, fine. i'll go home and just get some rest, wouldn't be the first time."
