orion follows ren, keeping his eyes to the floor as he tries his best to focus his breathing

after getting clearance ina lands the ship and opens the ships doors for ren and orion, looking tense as she waits

Colligan and like, eight guards wait for them, Colligan looking relieved knowing his galakin is coming back to him

Ren slowly shifts the color of his scales as they go, changing to a murky brown color. " just in case they recognize me. most races cannot tell us apart by body types, they think we all look the same. color tends to be the biggest factor." He keeps quiet as they disembark the ship, walking over to where the man and his guards are waiting.

Colligan raises his hand and the guards all take a step back, giving ren space and lowering their weapons. He looks past ren and smirks when he sees Orion before looking back at ren, "I must give my thanks for returning my star back to me. You're here for the reward though right? that should be more than a thank you for you. That being said, follow me." he turns and starts heading inside.

Ren stops and nods slowly, glancing at Orion before following the man.

orions ears lower slightly before he follows ren, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

the guards follow behind orion, their marching only further making the galakin nervous

colligan gets to his office and opens the doors, going over to his desk and grabbing a fancy looking pda

Rens claws click on the floor, and his tail twitches as he watches Colligan. He glances back at Orion and jerks his head slightly towards the man. well? was he not going to ask?

Colligan looks at Ren, "do you have a pda of some kind? I can do a wire transfer so you can be paid immediately."

Orion sees ren and he gives a slight shudder, "u-um." he steps out from behind ren and lowers his head a bit, "a-actually sir-"

Colligan raises a hand to Orion and raises an eyebrow at the galakin, "Remember your manners star, people are talking."

The hand gesture is enough to shut Orion up, but the comment colligan makes towards him makes his eyes water and it reminds him that Colligan doesnt think orion is a person. just a thing.

Ren's eyes narrow, " i do, but first Orion i believe has something he wishes to ask you." he places a hand onto Orions shoulder to try and give him strength and encouragement. " after all, we are ALL people here, and have a voice."

Colligan looks at ren curiously before humming, "you certainly are an interesting basilisk. "He sighs softly and sets his pda down before stepping to the side of his desk, "very well. Star, come here."

Orion blinks and looks up at ren before looking back at his master and taking a deep breath, going in front of Colligan, "i... I came here to ask for you to remove my collar."

Colligan blinks before chuckling softly, "now why on Terra would you want that? It's beautiful and it keeps you safe! After all it never seemed to be a hindrance before."

Orion frowns, "I was living here before. No one but you and the guards saw it. But I know what this collar means now and i... I want it removed so that other people don't see it."

Colligan frowns, "other people? You're not planning on staying? But you're MY star. Where will you go? It's a cruel universe out there and there's no doubt that you'll turn into someone's bitch in no time."

Orion huffs, almost glaring, "I am not your star. I am ORION. It was only cruel when I was stuck wearing that weird outfit you forced on me. And the shoes hurt! A-and the underwear was ridiculous! I met some amazing and kind people and I wish to stick by them!"

Colligan sighs, "so this isn't a return with reward thing eh? You literally came all this way and entered my home to demand the collar to be removed?"

Orion nods, "yes. I'm not sorry, but I do really want this collar removed. Please."

Colligan wraps his arms around Orion, who freezes at first but then relaxes when he realizes it's just a hug, "I'm so sorry Orion. I thought I was being so good to you but it turns out all I did was hurt you."

Ren's tail slowly lashes, not trusting the man, " if you knew anything about my kind this would not be surprising." he watches carefully, " so are you removing his collar then?"

Colligan hums softly, "its not that simple you see."

Guards file into the room behind ren, blocking off the way out.

Colligan keeps orion in his hold with his left arm while using his right hand to grab a knife on his desk and drive it into Orions chest.

Orion shrieks in pain and shoves himself away from colligan before collapsing on to his knees, "wha-why? what did i-"

Colligan presses a button on his desk and takes a few steps away as a few yards of floor open up like a trap door and orion falls in. He sighs and lets the floors close back up before wiping his hands on a handkerchief, "A shame. I really like the looks of that one."

Ren shrieks when the knife goes into Orions chest and his tail lengthens, whipping at the guards to hit them. he leaps at Colligan and pins him to the ground, snarling, " one move and he dies!" one of his killing claws lowers to rest just over the mans heart, " now, tell me where he is, or bring him back here. i won't hesitate to kill you all."

colligan is frozen in shock for a brief moment before he calms himself, "if you must know, that chute goes down to the power room where we keep our energy stored and to join the rest of his family. now if you could kindly get off me."

Ren snarls and cracks him across the head to knock him out, leaping off to attack the guards and knock them out or kill them. He had to move fast, hopefully Orion was still alive.
