the guards aim their guns at ren and start shooting, trying to keep him away from them

orion had managed to catch an opening of a vent and pull himself into the smaller vent shaft, panting softly from the shock of getting stabbed as well as the exertion. he winced and whimpered as he did his best not to touch the knife still in him as he pulled out his pda. his hands were shaking and snot was running down his nose as he tried to call rens pda, begging that the basilisk would pick up

Ren grunts as a few bullets hit him, but he's easily able to catch up with them and take them down. Even if they had guns, he was stronger. Once they're down he takes out his pda and sighs in relief as he sees it's Orion and answers it, " Orion? are you alright?" he pants softly, forcing the hols in his side to close over the bullets to keep from bleeding out.

as soon as orion hears rens voice he lets out a sob before quickly choking it back down, "I- That- that bastard stabbed me." he lets himself lay down on his back as he steadies his breathing, "I'm sorry.... im sorry i thought he would ever be kind enough to just..." orion chokes back another sob, "are-are you okay?"

Ren growls, " i suspected he would be a rat, but i did not suspect he would be so cruel. i will be alright, i have neutralized the enemies here and am going to try and get to you. i think the fastest way may be down the trap door he sent you down. do you know where he keeps the key for your collar? will you be alright where you are for a few minutes or do i need to screw the collar and get you out?"

"i- I dont know.... i didnt fall all the way down to wherever he was going to send me.... i grabbed onto another vent opening and im resting in there. um... i-i leave the knife in... right? like, i cant take that out?"

Ren sighs in relief, " yes, leave the knife alone. it'll keep you from bleeding too much. im going to try and get the key, if i cannot get it quickly, i will come get you." He grabs Colligan and looks around, finding some water and splashing his face to try and wake him.

colligan groans slightly before opening his eyes. he sees ren and huffs softly, "now why on terra am i still alive? i didnt assume you would do as such."

orion blinks and hesitantly sits up so that he could look at the vent, frowning. he could hear some weird sound coming from the vent and he recognized that it was the same sound he heard back on the ship. he slowly pushes himself on to his hands and knees and starts crawling through the vent

Ren snarls, " because you still have something i want. the key to his collar. if you give it to me, i will leave you alive. if you do not, i will stab into your belly and leave you to die a very slow, very painful death."

colligan snorts, "i see. you think he's still alive. cute."

[Namari]

Ren snorts, " regardless, the offer stands. the key for your life." he saw no reason to let the other know Orion still lived.

Colligan hums, "and you think I keep such an important thing on me? I keep that in my room in a box. After all, it may be a key but it is also a button and if pressed, even by accident, it would kill the thing and that wouldn't be very good so I keep it away from hands including my own."

There is a crackling sound coming from colligans desk before a voice comes through on the small speaker, "Mr. Colligan, sir, we have a problem in the power room!"

Colligan blinks and frowns, trying to get up, "let me up you damned fool! I need to respond to that!"

Ren reaches down and lifts the man by the collar, " no, i don't think you will respond to it. you are going to guide me to your room, and give me that key. i think you have forgotten i can kill you in a moment. i will get what i want."

Colligan snarls, "If the power room is having an issue then this planet is in danger!"

The voice comes through on the speaker again, "S-sir?! Please answer! There's a kid on the cat walk above the MR fluid!"

Colligans eyes widen and he looks at his desk, "He's still alive?!"

Ren growls, " and if you do not do as i say then you'll die regardless. i suggest you do what i want quickly!"

colligan huffs, "for your information he is in danger being in that room alive. if you honestly cared you would get him out of there first and make me get the key after."
