Orion goes to his bed and sits down, bringing the jewels into his lap and placing his hands on each one before his hands start glowing softly

Ren watches curiously, keeping his eyes on Orion.

Aside from the glowing coming from orions hands the only other sign of interesting activity is the fact that the jewels themselves start glowing. not brightly, or throughout the whole rock but just a dull, pulsating light from the very center of the jewels.

Orion sighs softly, "It seems like power IS transferring, although having to keep physical contact with them is going to get boring real quick."

Ren tilts his head, " perhaps set up something to watch while you do so? there are videos and things on the tablets, or im certain there is a viewing screen in here."

[MissyLooni]

Orion looks at ren, "I suppose. I'll have to find a different way to sit too since staying like this could stiffen my back."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " do they need contact with your hands? you could just... stick them under your shirt if not."

[MissyLooni]

Orions face turns deep blue, "i- im not going to stick my parents under my shirt. and i am not sure if i need to keep my hands on them but i DO know that right now this contact is working."

[Namari]

Ren blinks, then shrugs. " it was only an idea. well you can just hold them while we watch something." he taps on his tablet a few times and a screen appears on the wall, " anything you want to see?"

[MissyLooni]

Orion is still blushing a little,  but he seems to settle down a little,  "I guess... I can just hold them. I don't know what there is to watch. I have never really watched a lot of things."

[Namari]

Ren blinks, " i don't often either honestly. there are channels that report current events, there are shows, there are things that teach you certain ways to do things. there are also competitions recorded for amusement."

[MissyLooni]

Orion hums softly, "I suppose... maybe some current event show? It'd be nice to know what's going on out in the universe."

[Namari]

Ren nods and scans through his tablet before selecting one and it starts playing on the larger screen.

Orion leans back against the wall as he watches the show, bringing both gems up to his chest to hold. He brings his knees up a little to support his elbows and not tire his arms out. It genuinely looks like Orion is a mother holding a pair of twin infants because how else is he going to hold two infant sized objects at the same time

Ren glances over, and chuckles at the image, being reminded of his sister holding a couple of her hatchlings.

Orion doesn't even notice ren as he keeps his eyes on the screen, "a lot of people in sector two are freaking out over the appearance of stars and gases and nebulas. Has everyone been without that stuff for a long time?"
