Orion blinks, "oh... theres just a lack of... lace and a lot more material...." he shrugs and gets the underwear on before getting the pants on, "as long as your people are happy."

Renshajoh rolls his eyes, " it covers your sexual parts, that's what's it's meant to do." he goes over to his desk and sits, " and yes, we are happy. few of us leave the planet, though we have ample opportunity. and many willing to hire us when we do leave."

Orion watches ren, "hire... so... people want your services and you provide them a service but... you also get... currency?"

Renshajoh nods, " yes. in exchange for our labor and fighting prowess, we are paid. money which most of us send back home to fund more technology and such to be purchased from outworlders. i keep enough for my own comfort, the rest i have no need for." he gestures to the bed, " rest, you need it."

Orion gives a hesitant nod before getting on to the bed. He was used to his plushed and fluffy bed however spending a fair amount of time on the floor made him come to appreciate this bed. He hugs the pillow close to him and he soon falls asleep

Ren watches the other until he climbs into the bed, then turns back to his desk and carefully pulls out a think paper-like sheet, dipping a pen into a bottle of ink next to him and scratching down the events of the last few days.

After a few hours of napping orions eyes flutter open and he slowly rubs his face with the back of his hands

Ren had clearly rearranged things while the other was asleep, moving a new cot over to one side for himself and some basic personal items for the younger arranged on the table next to the bed, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush and things. The lizard man himself was on his side on the cot, back facing the other as he takes a short rest as well.

Orion sits up and yawns, stretching and scratching his head. He huffed, feeling his hand getting stuck in his thick hair. Normally it was carefully brushed out with his favorite lapis lazuli covered brush. He sighs and pulls his hand out before looking over at ren, his eyes widening when he sees the basilisk on a cot instead of his own bed.
Orion nervously looks around, noticing the supplies on the table. Did... ren do all this for him? He looks down at him and blinks before looking back at the hairbrush. Well... it must be for him. Ren doesnt have ....much for hair. He hesitantly grabs the brush and examines it. It certainly wasnt his personal brush but it would do. He begins to gently brush through his hair, it bouncing back up naturally

Ren's tail twitches as he hears the other move, rolling over and looking at the kid, " you're awake, thought you might be out for a bit longer. ah, you found the stuff, good. if you need anything else let me know, i wasn;t sure what all you required." he gets off the cot and stretches, muscles creaking and bones popping as he does so, causing him to let out a few grunts of pleasure at the sensation.

Orion flinches and looks at ren, "ah! I... i'm sorry
... I've been in your bed and leaving you in the cot."

The lizard blinks, " what? oh that's not an issue. scales make it a bit difficult to feel the difference anyway. and it;s not worth changing shape and holding for that. i sleep on the bed because it's there. the ground would suffice honestly, but the cot is slightly more comfortable. you being soft skinned, get far more benefit than i from the bed."

Orion blinks before nodding, "still, i feel a bit bad. You also grabbed supplies for me... you... you didnt have to. As soon as i get the okay im out to find master."

Renshajoh snorts, " no i didn;t have to. but they're basic needs, everyone deserves that." he walks over to the desk, " and, i haven't gotten paid for todays work yet obviously, but this is roughly half of what i would have earned. you did half the work, it's only right." he grabs a small pouch and walks over, dropping it next to Orion. " i doubt you have a bank chip, so it's solid cash."

Orion looks at it and blinks before snapping his head to look at renshajoh, "you dont have to pay me! I did it because i wanted to be of some use for you."
