orion shrugs, "thats fine. I wouldnt want to trade. My life was very easy for all the free, luxurious stuff I got to have."

Renshajoh sighs, " i suppose people are different. i would rather have to fight for my life and be hungry than not be able to choose my own path. even now though i am contracted to work for Torque, i can leave anytime i decide my path leads elsewhere. i still have yet to find where my calling is leading me, but that's part of why i enjoy it i suppose."

Orion blinks, "Thats his name? Torque? I dont like him..."

the lizard-like man nods, " yeah that's his name. frankly i don't like him much either. But as long as he doesn't attempt to force me to do anything against my values, i can dislike him all i want and still stay. until i find someplace i'd rather be anyway. im just going where the stars call me to, where that is, i guess i'll find out when i get there."

orion tilts his head, "The... stars? Do we still have any more?"

Renshajoh blinks, " well...im not sure. when i was little, i felt a pull towards the sky. i have always felt that pull, and i attributed it to the stars and the world. i hope there are stars left. Torque and their cause, they fight to bring back the stars, or at least to get rid of those destroying them. from what i understand. it's complicated." he rubs the back of his neck.

Orion frowns and looks down, "Master... said the stars died out a long time ago... and that they started making fake stars. Just something that helps the planets from collapsing...I've seen where the facility is kept but he doesnt allow me inside."

Ren nods, " that's it. Torque and them want to take out the fake stars, so that people know the truth...a long time ago is a matter of perspective, i remember seeing stars when i was little."

Orion looks down, "I... dont think I've seen one. At least not in the sector that master lives in."

Renshajoh sighs, " well, i plan to keep looking. or, at least i'll keep following that pull. it's lead me on some pretty crazy adventures so far. who knows."

Orion looks at ren and smiles, "Well... regardless.... I'm gad to have met you and I hope you find whats pulling you."

The Lizard nods, " i am glad to have met you as well. And so do i, as much as i enjoy traveling and seeing all these new things, it would be nice to eventually find someplace i feel at home to settle. And with any luck, someone to do so with."

Orion nods, "That does sound nice. " He eats a bit more before going back to his data pad

Renshajoh raises an eyebrow, " i would not have thought you'd think so. you seem to be content being an ornament."

Orion blushes, "I... i would like to be with Master... he treats me so kindly."
