Orion frowns, "well i wouldnt if you asked first... but... that would earn me a whole day in the isolation hole."

Ren blinks and glares, snarling softly, " WHAT"

Orion flinches and grabs the pillow next to him,  whining softly,  "we-well yeah. Thats why im confused. Every situation always came with a consequence or punishment..."

Ren sees the other scared and forces himself to calm down, " im...sorry. that is not normal, and is a horribly cruel thing. for most people, an 'isolation hole' does not exist... the closest thing to what you've experienced is parents scolding or giving their children punishments, such as time in a corner or perhaps a little swat on the rear."

Orion shudders and picks at the pillow, "the hole... isnt that bad...just scary."

Ren snorts, " regardless it is not the norm. you don;t have to ever do that again..."

Orion blinks and looks at the ground, "Its not... normal. But it's all i know..."

Ren nods, " yeah i know...you've been in... a less than ideal place. that may have been what he made your norm, but that is not the norm for most people."

Orion looks confused as he thinks about things, "I...but im in a good place though! I get healthy food any time i want, clothes that I dont have to pay for, and my bed is soooo comfy and soft."

Ren sighs, " perhaps. if you are willing to get punished anytime you displease the person who put that collar on you for those things, then i suppose that's a good place."

Orion blinks, tear drops quickly running down his cheeks, "I...dont want to get punished..."

Ren sighs and gets up, going over and sitting nest to him, putting an arm around him, " few people do."

Orion wipes his face quickly, taking deep breaths, "Im fine. I dont need pity."

Ren raises an eyebrow, " this is not pity, it is comfort. im sorry if i overstepped my boundaries."

Orion snorts, "Is there a difference? You still feel bad for me all the same."
