She walks for a bit before coming to a large storage room filled with things for different races,  all neatly categorized, "you'll be able to find what you need and more in here.  Take your time with picking. "

Ren blinks and looks around, " wow... this...is a bit overwhelming." he paces along them, eyeing each carefully. He moves quickly though, not wishing to take up more of this girls time than needed. He points out a humidity tank that looks appropriate for his size, and selects a heat lamp as well, " those two, if it's not too much trouble. are we taking them directly or what? i of course am willing to help move them."

Tai writes down their numbers and looks at Ren, "oh no, we dont lift them. Im not much for lifting so id just be dead weight. Um, there's like, a travel system underneath the floors that will take heavy things to a designated location. I'll do this part. Ive thankfully become accustomed to this ship." She walks over to a nearby wall with a computer screen and taps the numbers into the machine before looking at her datapad, "uuuhhh... lesse.... you are, ah. There's your room." She taps again on the screen, squinting her eyes a bit, "ugh. I have to say, i dont like how glowy the screens can be at times. Makes it difficult to notice smaller things."

Ren nods, " that is convenient." he blinks at the complaint, " ah, i have had issues with that as well. there is a way to lower the screen brightness, one of my crewmates on my last ship showed me. i think, there?" he pokes at the screen in her hand after peering at it over his shoulder.

Tai blinks and lowers the screen glow and sighs in relief, "oh, that is so much better. Thank you!" She smiles at ren before sending the items ren wanted below ground, a soft humming of a conveyor belt can be heard underneath them, "there. And if we return to your room it will be in there. Not where you want it of course but it'll be there."

Ren nods, " of course. and i can make do with wherever they are, or move them myself. it's not like i am going to complain about a room provided to me. as for the screen, im only glad i didn;t mess anything up. it was helpful when i was shown, but im afraid my... technological knowledge pretty much ends there."

Tai smiles and giggles, "Yeah besides the very specific job I have here I am not very good with other things this ship can do. But, im glad i could at least help with this."

Ren shrugs, " you do not need to be good at many things, just something useful. Just as i am not good at many things, but i am strong and a good fighter. that seems to suffice for keeping me afloat."

Tai blinks, "A fighter? You dont... that kid with you isnt a fighter either, is he? He seems too fleshy to fight..."

Ren laughs softly, " no, he is not. it is... a complicated story as to why we travel together. the meat of it is i am traveling with him to get him safely to his destination."

[MissyLooni]

Tai blinks, "Oh! So you two met a while ago? Well, thats nice of you. He doesnt look like someone who could travel safely alone. N-no offense towards him of course! Im sure he is good at other things!" She shrinks a bit and pokes at her fingers, "Oh no... im sorry if that sounded rude."

Ren chuckles softly, " do not fret, i am not offended. He is more capable than he appears, however circumstances obligated me to ensure his safety until he reaches his destination. you have done nothing wrong, you ought to be more confident." he himself stands tall, sure of himself.

Tai blinks and straightens up a little, "You're sure I havent done anything wrong? I assure you if I ever offend just let me know. I never mean to hurt anyone's feelings."

" it takes more than a little curiosity to hurt my feelings. i will be certain to let you know if something you say bothers me, however i can tell you do not seem like the type to knowingly insult." he nods to her, " i thank you for your aid, it was much appreciated. i will be certain to let you know if more aid is needed, if that is alright." He saw how uncertain this young female was, and wanted to help her as he did for as many as he could. a little confidence would go a long way he figured, and he already noticed how striking she was even just standing slightly taller and straighter. Perhaps he would offer to train her to fight, it would be another confidence booster and he would after all have the time to spare. But he'd save that for after his nerves about this ship and it's crew eased, as much as he wanted to help he also did not wish to train an enemy on how to fight against him. He looks over towards the door, " i... have not yet eaten a midday meal. if it's the same to you, i would like to go eat."

Tai blinks, " ah go right ahead! I assume you have been shown how to get there, if not your map will instruct you. I have orders to get the ship into orbit once i was done getting you your things so i am unsure if i have time to guide you myself."
