Ren blushes brightly, scales turning purple as he carefully reaches over and pressed the button to direct the sound to their headphones only, how the other had managed to switch it to speaker was beyond him, " uh, if you wish to watch this, lets not make the entire room listen..."

Orion blinks before looking at ren in confusion, his voice louder than he meant with the headphones in, "whats a smurg??"

Ren covers his eyes, turning a little brighter. He gently lifts one of Orions ear pieces to whisper into his ear, " if i recall correctly, it's another word for...well...a male's reproductive organ..."

Orion's ears drop, his eyes widen, and he turns a deep blue before scrambling to change the channel before handing the remote to ren

Ren blinks as he grabs the remote, " alright..." he changes channels until he finds a sit-com and settles in to watch that, that should be harmless enough.

Orion rubs his face a bit before lookinh at the screen and sighing. He hoped the show ren picked was safe. He didnt want to embarrass the basilisk or himself really in front of all these strangers

Ren watches the show, the humor was subtle if it referred to anything inappropriate, nothing nearly as blatant as the show Orion had previous selected.

Orion keeps his eyes at the screen, shuddering softly,  "i'm... sorry....i didnt know what was on the screen..."

Ren hesitates before putting an arm around Orions shoulders, " be calm, i am not upset, nor is anyone else. yes it was somewhat embarrassing, but it is not a huge deal."

Orion blinks before smiling softly,  "that's a relief.  I guess... it isnt my fault anyway, considering i didnt even know you could put such crass entertainment on the screen. "

Ren nods, " indeed. you can hardly be expected to know better. And yes, they can put quite the variation on the screen. though more... adult themed shows tend to be on certain channels. and there is... even more that you can access through the datanet." he blushes, " i have accidentally stumbled upon such things doing research, it was quite embarrassing."

Orion nods in understanding before curling into his spot, humming in content, "hey ren? Thanks. For everything. I do appreciate you being here with me. I... I think if i was doing this alone i would be quite terrified..."

Ren blinks and nods slowly, " i am glad i can make it easier, i feel badly to have put your life in such disarray to begin with."

Orion chuckles, "well, i dont feel like it's your fault. Im sure torque would have stopped my... employers ship whether you were there or not. If anything you kept them in line when i had to be near them. "

Ren nods, " regardless, i had a hand in the affair, so i share the blame. i will make things right though."
