Orions chuckles and shakes his head, "well then you're the only one who does. Regardless, i'm glad to have you with me. I know I am in safe, capable hands." He looks back at the tv, leaning a bit against Ren as he relaxes

Ren blinks and smiles slightly, resting back into the seat to watch the show and let Orion cuddle against him.

Orion sits there quietly,  almost falling asleep when a hard jerk from the ship causes him to almost fall off the couch,  "-Shit! What was that?!"

Tables fall to the side and heavy furniture shift,  causing the crewman to look at each other in confusion until the lights suddenly turn red and the alarms begin going off.

The crew in the room have a split moment of panic before they quickly dart out of the room to go to their stations.

Ina is in the command room, looking pissed and shocked, "WHO SHOT US?! Taro, get the shields up at full power! Sally, open all of the communication channels, i want to figure out who this fucker thinks they are! Tai, get the radar searching for any complex metals that might be a ship!"

Coco frowns and crosses her arms, "the radar may be difficult to perform currently. We are in an asteroid field so they may cause interference."

Ina snarls, "i dont care!! People dont just shoot the Blue Phoenix. And if they do they certainly dont survive!"

Ren was also dozing, relaxed when suddenly the ship jerks, and he grips the seats with his claws, shredding the cloth and his killing claw digging deeply into the floor. He blinks rapidly and gets up, unsticking his claws from the floor, " felt like we struck something, or it struck us." he rushes to the main control room, knowing Orion would either follow or head to their rooms.

Sally rushes to the comms unit and flicks open the channels, " This is Blue Phoenix requesting to know why the hell we've just been shot at?"

Orion stumbles to his feet as he chases after ren.

Tai's screen makes soft blips as she watches carefully,  "it's no good captain. It's like what miss coco said. The radar is picking up massive interference! "

Ina's eyes shrink to thin slits as she snarls when no one responds to sally, "fuckers shot my ship. Someone actually shot my VERY expensive ship!" She flicks her screen in irritation before looking at sally, "try again. The ship definitely has damage that pebbles couldnt have caused so i KNOW we were shot at."

Coco watches the screen closely,  her eyes analyzing the rocks out the window,  "i wouldnt be surprised if we didnt get a response until they've been discovered. "

Sally sighs, " i will try again." she presses to transmit once more, " this is the Blue Phoenix, we are giving you one last chance to explain yourselves before we consider this a hostile action and begin to take counter measures. Respond at once and we may show mercy." she stops the transmission, " hopefully that gets their attention."

Ren skids into the control room, claws clicking on the metal, " what's going on!?"

Coco glances at ren, "someone shot at us. I'd keep your distance, the captain gets testy when someone damages her ship."

Ina snaps at coco, "I worked VERY hard on this ship!! Of course im gonna get pissed!!"

Tai sighs and looks at ren, "those who actually think shooting at a support ship like ours usually arent the people you want to deal with. They are either dumb enough to think what they're doing is a good idea or strong enough that they know they can get away with it. We're typically left along from both sides thanks to our status."

Ina snarls, "So far 3 people in my lifetime have attacked this ship. I do not take attacks lightly. Taro, what does the east engine look like? Any severe damage?"

Orion stands next to ren, curiously watching everyone talk

Ren blinks and shifts nervously, " well, i cannot do much to aid in this case, but if it comes to fighting onboard i assure you they will not last long."

Sally glances over, " they're not responding. maybe we should send out a pulse to destroy some of these meteors and clear up the scans a bit?"

Taro hums softly, " nothing serious, but we do have some minor damage. loss of about 15% efficiency i'd say."

Ina looks at sally and nods, "60 degrees to the left should be a good spot. We took east damage from a short range so they must be somewhere there."

Coco glances at ren, "you may relax. We do not board ships, nor do we allow potential enemies to board. Ina cares too much about the people on her ship to risk their health."

Ina blushes a little and huffs, "coco dont make me sound like a softie. Stratagey wise its not smart for us to board a ship like that."

Orion looks up at ren before looking down,  feeling relieved that att the very least this ship cant be boarded

Ren shrugs, "pity, im not of any use then. you must never have dealt with boardings with a basilisk on your side before, i assure you that changes the tide swiftly." he flexes his killing claws unintentionally, making  them scrape against the metal floor.

Sally goes over to another section and starts the process for the pulse, " alright, 60 degrees to the left, charged and ready to fire on your orders captain.

Ina looks at sally and nods, "shields are at 100% so we're ready for anything that pops up. Go ahead and fire the pulse ray."

[Namari]

Sally presses the button to fire the pulse, meteors in the line of it being blasted into smithereens.

As the crumbling meteors split apart a large ship is revealed, a giant canon looking device pointed at the Blue Phoenix.

Ina snarls, "there you are you sonava bitch! Sally are the coms still open?"

Orions eyes widen when he sees the familiar ship. He shudders and hides behind ren, knowing that was the same ship that attacked torque and his crew. Simone's ship. Torque's ex wife.

[Namari]

Sally nods, " ready to transmit any message you'd like Captain"

Ren's eyes narrow, " Orion... does that ship look familiar?"

[MissyLooni]

Orion hesitantly grabs onto ren and shudders, "th-thats the ship..." his voice is barely above a whisper, "torque's ex."

Ina snarls, "This is Captain Ina Von Calamos of the Starfleet ship named Blue Phoenix. By the order of the United Universe Nations I demand to know why you have not only attacked a government ship, but also ignores our demands for identification!"

Tai hunches her shoulders, feeling intimidated just by listening to the venomous tone in Ina's voice.

Finally, Simone's comes through on the comms and she cackles, "well now listen you girly! Acting all important just because you have a fancy toy~"
