Ren blinks and then snarls softly, waiting until Ina is done talking and the com isn't transmitting, " we know that woman. she's... she's after us." not totally true, but if he just said Orion they'd wonder why, at least if he included himself they might assume that she had a grudge against the basilisk, which could be more understood.

Ina glances back at ren before looking back at her screen, "still doesnt give her the right to blindly shoot at a ship. There are people who have called this ship home and i dont plan on them feeling like their home isnt safe."

Simone's voice comes over the comms, sounding irritated, "Now listen here! You have something i want! Hand it over now and i might let you live!"

Ina snorts softly, "it? Excuse me?" She looks at sally, "send the comm code over to my computer so that i can take control myself."

Sally snorts, " with pleasure captain." she sends it over to Ina's control panel so the woman had control over the communications.

Ren snarls, " 'it' indeed. that is one woman i would take pleasure in killing."

[MissyLooni]

Ina huffs as she takes control, "Ma'am I am not sorry to inform you that having any of your possessions is impossible. Our power and supplies strictly come from government run stations that have to go through several security and morality checks before we sign off and they get transferred to my ship. Last I checked, pirates dont own anything the government deems valuable."

Simone snarls, "THE BOY YOU IDIOTS. THE GALAKIN. TURN HIM OVER NOW BEFORE I BLOW YOUR SHIP TO PIECES."

Orion feels his heart drop and he nervously sticks close to Ren, terrified that his cover was probably blown

Ina does her best to not react, nor look at her crew as she calmly sighs, "You call us idiots? Thats funny. Considering everyone knows that Galakins no longer exist you believe I would have one on my ship? Honestly that sounds like you're the idiot to me-"

Simone fires another blast at the ship, causing it to rock slightly, not nearly as hard as when it took a direct hit however enough to prove a point that it was strong enough to push back the shield and ship.

Tai blinks and glances at Ina, "The shield's power dropped to 80%, Captain."

Ina nods, "Keep an eye on the power. We're fine for now."

Sally looks back at her Captain, " awaiting orders... she doesn't seem like she's just going to leave."

Ren puts himself between Orion and everyone else, his scales slowly getting darker and thicker as he unconsciously prepares to fight if need be.

[MissyLooni]

Ina glances at Sally, "send a message through the intercoms. Let everyone know to get ready for a code blue."

"GIVE ME THE GALAKIN. You have no idea the power you can obtain from it!"

Tai's eyes widen slightly, "Code blue? Are you serious?"

Ina nods before going back to the intercom, "Lets say the possibility of a Galakin still being around is high and I do so happen to have one. What makes you think I would hand them over to you? Those who come on to my ship do so to escape hardship and to have a chance at a new life. Everyone has a reason to be here. They are family once they step on to my ship. I will NEVER hand over anyone to you regardless of who they are."

Simone fires another blast at the ship, "THEN I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU!"

Ina feels the ship rock and she looks at Tai, "Status."

Tai nervously looks at Ina and buckles into her seat, "30% Captain."

Ina sighs, sitting down and buckling herself into her seat, and looks at Taro, "Taro. Open all five power reserves and flood everything with power. Overload the engines and the shield."

Coco quickly sits down in her seat and buckles herself in.

Sally looks warily at Ina, " code blue initiating..." she types in the orders, having the ship inside lights going off to warn everyone on board. She looks at Ren and Orion, " might want to get in a seat and strap in boys."

Ren blinks and frowns and carefully pushes Orion to one of the seats, " sit, im not sure what's going to happen, but i think we should listen." he sits and straps in though he disliked it.

Orion nervously buckles into his seat, one hand instinctively reaching out to grab ren.

The whole ship begins to give off a faint blue glow as it feels like the air around them is vibrating.

Ina flips some switches and glances at Tai, "status."

Tai's tail curls around her seat and she nods, "east engine has self repaired from the star energy and all engines have reached critical levels of power while shields have been restored and pushed into overdrive."

Coco looks at Ina, "all passenegers have reported being seated and buckled safely."

Ina nods, "Sally, line up the shot."

Sally shifts to aim at the other ship, " shot is lined up, ready on your order captain."

Taro monitors all systems, " everything is in order."

Ren sees Orion grabbing for him and puts a hand over the others, trying to comfort him.

[MissyLooni]

A blue switch raises itself from ina's captain's chair and she nods, "this will be over in a second."

Orion looks around the room and blinks. The star energy that was filling the room was something he recognized when he warpes torques ship away from simone.

Ina watched as the ship in front of them began charging up its canon again and she quickly flips the switch, causing the ship to shoot itself straight at Simone's ship, easily ripping it into several pieces.

Tai gripped her station tightly, never enjoying the feeling of the ship's g force when it goes to such speeds.

Coco stays relatively still, keeping an eye on the screen.

Orion feels himself get jerked forward, and then slammed back in his seat, slightly thanking the chairs they were in for being so soft. He wasnt hurt however from the sudden motions he did feel a bit queasy and his ears felt like they were ringing. He could barely hear the sounds of explosions happening behind the ship

Sally and Taro both jerk in their seats, the sensation unpleasant. As soon as it's over both get up and look at their monitors.

" No major anomalies detected in the engines and power systems." Taro calls out once he's studied the readings.

Sally looks at the wreckage on the screen, " target destroyed, unlikely to be survivors."

Ren had also jerked in his seat, forcing a growl from his throat at the rough treatment. Once everyone else seemed okay with unbuckling he quickly gets up, disliking being so restrained.

Ina, coco, and tai get out of their seats and ina turns the ship so its facing the wreckage, "tai. Scanners."

Tai looks at her screen and nods, "no detection of life captain. They wont be bothering us again."

Ina nods before looking at taro, "cut the power from the reserves and bring the engines down to five percent. We wont be moving for a while.  Coco,  report on the passengers. "

Coco brings her hand up to her ear and nods,  "everyone is fine captain. No injuries. "

Ina nods, "alright, who wants to volunteer to go out there and locate their blackbox? Im going to have to report this to sector 8 officials and they will want the box which means we will need to tamper with it. Remove anything that remotely sounds like the word galakin. Our box as well if they choose to do a thorough investigation."

Orion opens his eyes, not even aware that he had closed them in the first place, and he stares at the wreckage. He feels sick and he hesitantly removes the restraints. There used to be people on that ship...families....maybe? Now the was nothing but debris. He wraps his arms around himself, shaking slightly as the shock settles in, and his face loosing color.

Taro quickly shuts down most of the power, keeping only needed items in the ship functional, " power cut."

Sally sighs and shuts down the communications, " yes ma'am. i'll work on altering our records right away."

Ren looks at Orion and frowns, seeing him going into shock. " Orion, come." he carefully scoops him up and takes him back to his room, wrapping a blanket around him.

Ina watches ren leave with orion and winces, "oops... kid probably never witnessed such violence. I'll have to apologize later."

Coco gets up, "in the meantime, i'll go ahead and find their blackbox. I actually dont need gear to go out."

Orion whines softly and sniffles, "they- they killed... "

Ren pats his back, " they would have killed us, all of us, for no other reason than to get to you. Yes they died. it happens. It's not your fault."
