Orion shudders and scoots close to ren, "i dont want to believe that. Thats just terrible. No one should feel like killing is an appropriate response to a conflict..."

Ren nods, " it is terrible, and it should not have to happen. but they would have kept coming and hurt many many people until they got what they wanted. that is how people like that work. whether what they desire is a person, or simply valuables, they do not value other lives."

Orion looks up at ren, his eyes watery, "promise me you wont let me be like that. A-as long as you're taking me back and we'll be together, dont let me do something so terrible. I want to be a star or a planet when i do age and die. Not a black hole."

Ren blinks slowly, not really understanding it, " o...kay? i do not think that will be a problem, you are too kind hearted to lose yourself in such a manner. you could not even be like me, i kill when i must, but i respect the lives i have to take."

Orion shudders and curls against ren, "i feel so ill... just thinking about how many people are gone... maybe some were excited to go home to see their loves ones? Now that wont happen... thats so sad..."

Ren runs his hand through Orion's hair, " don;t think too deeply about it, you will never know what may or may not have been, and dwelling on it does no-one any good. simply respect that they were strong people, if not very morally upstanding ones. we can hold a farewell for them if you like? light some candles and honor their spirits so they might pass on peacefully."

Orion sniffles and nods, "id like that... it would really make me feel better. What... are we going to do about ina? And the others? Simone... said what i was....what do we do?"

Ren sighs, " they do not know it is you. we will figure it out. i will fight if i have to." he pulls away and gets his bags, grabbing a few candles from it and arranging them on the floor, lighting them and kneeling in front of them, " let us simply honor those departed."

Orion sits up and nods. He gets out of his cacoon and kneels next to ren

Ren bows his head in silence for a few minutes before he lifts his head, " we hope your journey into the next life will be eased by our homage to you." he reaches out and snuffs the candles one by one with his fingers.

Orion wipes his eyes and sighs before getting back onto the bed, "um.... the beds are really big here... you wouldnt mind if i... slept in your room... with you tonight, right? I'd feel better to have some contact."

Ren puts the candles aside, " if you wish we can share a bed, yours or mine does not matter to me."

Orions nods, "id appreciate that. I dont really mind which bed either."

Ren nods and covers Orion's shoulders with a blanket again, hoping the weight and warmth would help.

Orion hums softly and sighs, "i'm feeling pretty okay now ren. Thank you..."
