Ren nods and gets up, " Are you alright if i leave you for a bit? i would like to see how things are going..."

Orion nods, "i think i'll be okay."

Coco is standing next to sally, a small black device in her hands, "we should listen to both their box and ours to ensure that our conversations match up properly."

Tai prints out a quick report before handing it to Ina, "as long as nothing else happens and we dont keep our shields or engine up at 100 percent we will be okay to continue on course. "

Ina takes the report and nods, "that will do for now. Only because the grigors expect us very soon and i would hate to keep them waiting. However after we're done assisting them we should make our way to a station and recharge just in case."

Sally nods, " of course." she gets to listening to both of them, turning them on so they play at the same time, that much easier to identify discrepancies which she quickly fixes.

Ren walks into the area, looking at the work being done. He was nervous, and wasn;t sure how to go about this whole thing, it was probably more suspicious if he started asking about things he supposed. He didn;t let any of this show on his face, thankfully reptilian faces were hard to read anyway.

ina glances at ren, giving a sigh before turning her attention to him. She wasnt sure if she should say something about Simone's conversation or if Ren would just come clean about his companion. Surely the basilisk knew what the kid was, "How is he? Your friend. He uh... didnt look so good."

Ren was relieved to have a subject that was not the kids species come up, " he will be alright. he is somewhat sheltered, and has no real experience with death, or rather had. He was in shock, however he is doing better now."

Ina gives a hesitant nod, "right." of course it wouldnt be brought up. This was going to be hard, "I will uh... once he's feeling good enough to approach us I will have to give him an apology. Having him go through something like that was not what I wanted."

Ren nods, " i think it would be best to wait until at least tomorrow for that..." perhaps a small push? " seemed like some extreme measures to take however..."

ina shakes her head, "Not in the slightest. I have thousands of lives on this ship that I pride myself in protecting. Besides she made it quite clear that she was going to take us down to get what she wanted and as a peace ship we are not allowed to have much for weapons so I make do with what I have."

Ren nods, " fair enough i suppose." well not enough of a push, and he wasn;t going to bring it up. If they didn;t realize Orion was the galakin she spoke of, assuming they even knew what one was, he wasn;t about to draw attention to them. He lashes his tail slightly, " well, im glad at least we will not have to worry about her in the future."

Tai nervously watches ina and ren, she never liked keeping secrets so this was near painful to watch. Her tail curled around her and she held onto it.

Ina sighs, "her specifically, no. However now i will have to tread carefully and make sure when sector 8 gets their report they dont press further about the details."

Ren frowns, " i suppose so." ah fuck it, they all heard the word, " though whatever that thing they were after, galakon? you've altered the recordings to remove that for whatever reason."

Ina looks at ren incredulously before giving a sigh, placing her hand on her forehead, "this is painful. Okay. I wanted to wait a bit longer in hopes that you two would come to trust us but obviously when you have other people following it aint gonna happen. We all know. You can drop the act. We've known since day 1."

Ren goes on the defense, scales thickening, " and what exactly do you know?" that was not a good sign, though he preferred to get this over with if it came down to a fight.

Ina rolls her eyes,  "jesus, alright, i see what you're doing. You have sector two's galakin with you. Why a basilisk is roaming the universe with one is beyond me however we wanted to see why. Your kind would never own a slave all things considering but without proof we couldn't exactly rule that out. I was hoping Sally could figure out if Orion was with you by choice but if anything it only made him upset. "

Coco keeps her eyes on ren, ready to defend Ina if need be

Ren snarls, " i thought i smelled something that stank... so far most of the people that know what he is have been the person who kept him as a slave and those trying to capture him, don;t think i'll stand idly by and let you do the same!"

Sally quickly jumps between them, " woah there! we don;t want to capture him, we want to keep him safe okay? even from you if it comes to that."

Ren snorts, " bullshit. im with him only to try and help him. Presently that's getting him back to his... the person who had him, that's where he WANTS to go, nothing i've said will persuade him otherwise."
