Ren pouts, " if i allowed something to happen to you because i was not vigilant in keeping my skills in good condition, i would not be able to forgive myself. i swore to see you home safely."

Sally looks over at her captain, " The galakin wished to ask you some questions, so if you could go see him i think it would be a good idea. otherwise everything is in ship shape."

Ina blinks before getting up,  "oh. Okay? "

Coco snorts, "just a heads up.  He knows we know. "

Ina looks at coco and her ears lower,  "ah yeah i... i figured as much after that little tiff. Their race is supposed to be intelligent. "
She puts a smile on her face before heading to orion's room,  her heels echoing in the hallway.

Orion nods and smiles,  "i know,  i know. But im sure it'll be fine. "

Ren shrugs, " I will not leave it to chance. "

Sally sighs, " sorry, but I thought it was best that you do it. You know more than I do, and you're better at explaining it. "

Ina gets to orions room and knocks gently.

Orion blinks and his ears perk up when he hears the footsteps first, and then the knocking. He glances at ren before getting up and going over to his door and opening it, "oh. Its you."

Ina gives a polite nod, "yes its me. I was wondering if i could have a word. Sally notified me that you were looking for me."

 Ren blinks and gestures for her to come in, " yes... Orion has some questions, mostly about his race. "

Ina nods and steps inside, "Of course. I may not know everything but I will do my best for you." she looks at Orion

Orion blinks and rubs his arm briefly before sighing, "How did you know that I was a galakin? I thought my race died out a long time ago."

[Namari]

Ren sits off to the side, looking awkward as fuck.

Ina sighs, "my crew, and a few other moral ships do our best to give the universe a chance to live. We suck up to the governing power and act like we're here for them to get supplies while also doing our best to research the root cause of the stars disappearance. That led us to a very few select races that live a long time and helped piece some info together, including what your race looked like. Thats when we discovered that each sector has its own galakin. We've been keeping a close eye on each galakin so when we saw you it was kind of obvious."

Orion huffs, "and you never once tried to help any of us?"

Ina frowns, "i apologize orion, but its a lot more difficult than it seems. You all are so heavily guarded that actually getting one of you out is impossible. And even if we did get you out my ship and my crew would be the biggest target since its so recognizable. Not too mention we get our power from government ports so it would only be a matter of time. And then once caught the galakin would have been back at their sector planet and my ship destroyed and my crew... my family would probably be denounced as traitors and sentenced. As much as i would love to help all of you it has to be done carefully."

Ren exhales slowly, " i understand. there are many enemies and they are well organized, and you have limited resources to act with. that is a difficult position."

[MissyLooni]

Ina nods at Ren, "Exactly. There are so many that truly believe that galakins are either completely gone or never existed, the same with stars, so even if I did manage get one and keep them safe, no one would see it that way as well. Even if the government did nothing the people would probably no longer trust me and that would be very hard for us as well."

Orion sighs, "So... what are your plans with me then?"

Ina blinks, "I beg your pardon?"

Orion frowns, "well you said getting a galakin would be impossible and that you want to bring back the stars so that means you'd have some plan, right?"

Ina tilts her head, "I do, however, I wouldnt make plans involving you without your consent. You want to go back home so I will take you back home. I want you to be happy and if going home makes you happy then thats what im going to do."

Orion blinks, "but.... your plans."

Ina shrugs, "my plans havent happened for a long time, and they can wait a little longer. My race lives for a long time and im a patient person. Lets just worry about getting you home for now, okay? At the end of the day, thats my job."

Orion frowns but nods, "I think... im done for tonight..."

Ina nods, "If you think of anymore question just let me know, okay?"

Ren stands, " we appreciate you giving us your time. Something you may wish to consider is that a small skilled force may take advantage of a small weakness and succeed when a larger force is unable to be found or used. especially if this force is unknown to those you attack, then it is not obviously connected to you."

Ina nods, "I am more than aware, thank you though. I appreciate it. If you need anything dont hesitate to ask, for now I better get back to my crew." she turns and leaves

orion sighs and goes over to the bed and sits down

Ren nods and waits until she's gone before crossing his arms, thinking about it. the return of the stars would benefit all, including his own home planet. not to mention he'd be without a direction when he returned Orion home. If they could get a few more of his kind, and a few others with technical skills to deal with everything else besides fighting, that would make a dangerous team. His kind usually didn;t leave home much or get involved in fights outside their own planet, but this he was certain he could convince a few warriors to join him for. He stares at the wall, deep in thought.

Orion stares at the door, thinking himself as he considers everything he knows right now. He looks down at his gem, watching it glow and he bites his lips, before huffing and looking at ren, "Ren... can i ask you something?"

Ren blinks as he's drawn from his thoughts and looks over, " always."
