Orion pouts, "it at least sounds better than just me getting cornered against a wall."

Ren shrugs, " only because you did not see it. trust me, there were many days i ended up covered in mud, if i was lucky that day."

Orion frowns, "but it sounds more exciting."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " exciting, and dangerous. although it was less exciting and more terrifying at the time. my teacher was careful to try and keep me only against gradually more dangerous targets, but these were still wild animals, and big predators that could easily kill me if i made a wrong move. i needed to learn how to fight and hunt them, but i would not have been the first to lose their life in learning."

Orion sighs, "and i want to learn that way. Maybe not the almost death part but i want to actually feel sore and break a sweat. Not.... dance myself into a corner."

[Namari]

Ren shrugs, " very well. if that is what you desire, i would be willing to not go so easy on you. i know when to stop at least, instead of a program."

Orion blinks and his ears perk up,  "wait- really?!"

[Namari]

Ren sighs, " it will not be pleasant, and i cannot promise you will not be injured. but if you wish to be trained like one of our younglings, that is what i will do."

Orion grins and pumps his fist, "yes! Finally im taken seriously!"

[Namari]

Ren raises an eyebrow, " i hope you do not come to regret that choice. now, ready yourself." he crouches, tail lashing.

Orion stops and he blinks,  looking at ren,  "wait- now?"

[Namari]

Ren raises an eyebrow, " your enemy will not patiently wait until you are not tired or injured, you must be capable of fighting through pain and discomfort and exhaustion."

[MissyLooni]

Orion suddenly looks nervous,  "but you know i have a bruise on my side. "

[Namari]

Ren nods, " indeed. and as i said, an enemy will not wait until you have healed. you have my word that i will not go after your injury, however you cannot count on an enemy to show such kindness."

Orion looks nervous and he glances back at the simulation station before looking at ren, "i.... i guess..."
