Orion watches as Ren disappears and sighs, rubbing his arm nervously. He turns to look at all of the jewels floating in the air before huffing, "You want to reset? Fine. But you're doing it my way because I'm not going to let you hurt my friends." He runs back into the metallic fluid.

Ina had gotten the ship as far back as she could without risking being too far away for the transporter, however it still kept them in the danger zone. A zone that none of them were even aware of.

Coco huffs as she looks over at ina, "captain, there are reports coming in that planets are losing the stars they were renting in this sector. They seem to be just vanishing."

Ina looks flustered, upset, and confused. Whatever is going on was way above what she is used to, "what the hell is going on?"

Ren pops onto the ship and cries out, looking around with a bit of panic, " send me back! he put the transporter onto me at the last moment, the other is broken!"

[MissyLooni]

Ina jumps as she sees ren, "The transporters only go one way, what do you mean the other broke? What exactly is happening?"

Tai nervously watches the planet in front of them begin to glow blue and she is about to say something when a soft alarm goes off on her console. She looks at her screen and her jaw drops slightly,  "uhhhh captaaaiinnn?"

Ren lashes his tail and quickly explains what happened and what he knows, " the one i had broke when he threw me, and when i told him he was going to have to go alone, he asked for a hug and used that to put the functional one onto me! the fool!"

Ina turns pale during rens explanation, looking quite panicked.

Tai whines loudly, "Captain!!!"

Ina snaps out of it and quickly looks at Tai, "yes, sorry, what is it?"

Tai's tail curls around her seat, "the planet has been engulfed by a blue light and somehow our ships energy reserves have been restored to 100 percent."

Ina blinks and looks out towards the planet, "thats.... a shield. The planet has a shield surrounding it."

Coco frowns, "it's the same power as our ships which can only mean its star power. You think it's the kid?"

Ren gapes at the screen, going over to it and putting his hands on the console as he looks closer.

Taro snarls and slaps at his hands, " Oi! hands off the goddamn controls!"

Ren blinks and lifts his hands, " what the hell is he doing in there?"

ina shudders and looks at ren, "You said that planet is going to explode right? Maybe he's trying to contain it?"

coco sets her headset down and looks at her crewmates, "This entire sector is making panicked calls that their planets are experiencing a similar barrier. The kid doesnt seem to be taking any chances if this is his doing."

Taijaminh sees her controls light up and she squeaks as their ships defense shields activate on their own, "Ca-captain our shields just shot up and are at 100 percent pow- no! No they are going past 100 percent!!"

Ina looks at Tai, "what on moebius are you talking about? Our ship doesnt DO above 100 percent. Thats illogical!"

Tai pushes her seat back and points tp her screen, the monitor showing their ship being engulfed in their shield and a number next to it rising so fast that besides the first digit rising up quickly the last two are unreadable with how fast they are rising

Ren nods numbly, " y-yeah, the...things said it was going to explode. that idiot..."

[MissyLooni]

just as ren says that the shield around the planet suddenly shrinks before expanding, the ship itself getting jerked back and everyone stumbles before hitting the ground roughly, the lights and shields around the ship and planets suddenly disappear.

coco had slammed against the ground hard enough to crack the plating on her arm and Ina ends up being a few feet away from where she was

tai bounced a little but thankfully because she is shorter and low to the ground she didnt get too seriously injured

Taro gets thrown to the ground, swearing.

Ren stumbles before digging his claws in to brace himself. He shakes his head once the ship is stable.

Coco pushes herself up and hisses softly when she can see the wires exposed in her right arm, right above the wrist, severed and rendering her right hand useless.

Ina groans softly and pushes herself up, "Is..... Is everyone alright?"

Tai pushes herself up and sighs, "Im fine... the planet seemed to have imploded before exploding.... how terrifying if we felt that through space despite how much power we had from our shields...."

the lights we're still out in the ship, yet light still shown enough for everyone to see.

Coco blinks and looks towards where the planet should be, nothing but chunks of debris and shrapnel. Her eyes didnt stick to the gruesome site for long, her eyes catching the sight of different colors in the sky. Curiously she steps closer to the observation glass and her jaw drops when she sees the greens, reds, blues, pinks- so many different colors and natural light coming from stars. Stars that havent been in this sector, the universe, in so long that she suddenly felt overwhelmed by the sight

Ina stands up and after checking on her crew members she sees coco, and where coco is staring and when she sees the sector filled to such brilliant stars she gasps loudly and tears start streaming from her face

Taro slowly gets up and sees Coco's arm, grabbing a repair kit and muttering as he gets to work, not even really paying attention to the lights that allowed him to work by.

Ren slowly creeps towards the windows, eyes wide. " are... those stars? the elders were wrong, the moss caves do not compare..."

coco shudders as she keeps staring, not really noticing Taro, "they.... they are beautiful..."

Tai hums and smiles, "more than beautiful. its indescribable."

Ina watches the sky and blinks, "they... give a gravitational pull. the planets are moving on their own again..."

The ships engines kick on after being stalled and everything lights up again, the systems coming back online. A loud beeping is heard and Ina finally tears her gaze from the sky before going over to her console and puts on her headset, "Captain Ina of the Blue Phoenix reporting, who is- Captain Ruby? Yes, yes. That is correct. The galakin managed to restore sector two but our ship is down. yes, any support would be appreciated. Im sure there are a lot of SOS's coming from this sector since no one has seen the sky like this and their planet will have their rotation back so im sure that will be a shock. Okay. I will clean up this area and when we get things back fully online I will hail you okay? alright, thank you Ruby." she sets her headset down and looks at her crew, "Captain Ruby is coming our way with a few more morale ships to tend to the mass flood of signals coming from freaked out folks since our ship needs to be cleared first and..." she looks towards the debris, "we need to see... what is left of the planet."

Tai perks up a bit at first, hearing that Captain Ruby was swinging by but then she looks down as she also looks towards what was once left of the planet, "um with the consoles back online i'll start up the scanners." she gets back into her seat and starts tapping away on her computer.

coco looks at Taro and sighs, "Thank you for the assistance."

Taro keeps working, growling when the lights come on, " about fucking time. dim ass light... stay still."

Ren feels his chest twist as he looks out at the debris, " ...what should i do?"

ina glances at ren and frowns, "For now, nothing. if Tai's scanners pick something up then we can discuss sending someone out there in a suit and a tether. no sense sending someone out there if there's no reason for it. Between any sort of electrical that might be active from residual power to chunks of the planet moving because we have gravity again is too dangerous right now."

coco snorts, "Im surprised that despite stars being a thing in our world now you seem to be more occupied by my arm. before you say anything, i am grateful to you."
