Tai follows as fast as she can, wanting to make sure she can help in any way

Ren gets back to the infirmary, sitting on one of the tables and letting his skin retract, the holds slowly oozing blood now that they're exposed.

Tai grabs a large first aid kit with everything that will be needed and goes over to ren and winces slightly, "oof. That looks painful.... you should have everything in here, do you want me to try to pull them out or no? I know you have those claws so I wasn't sure if a tweezers was even necessary but I can grab some if you think they'll be useful."

Ren studies them for a moment, " i think tweezers will work better, and it will be easier to extract if you get the right angle, which will be difficult for me. if you do not mind i would appreciate your help in removal."

Tai nods, happy to help him before setting the kit down and quickly grabbing tweezers and a small container to put the bullets in for disposal, "I'm glad to be of assistance."

Ren nods and leans away so she has a clear view of the holes, the movement causing the blood to ooze a little more as the bullets are jostled.

Tai winces slightly as she looks at the wounds and gives a soft tsk, "I'm sorry you got injured. I'm sure you'll say that it's nothing but it's still upsetting to know someone got hurt..." she carefully starts removing the bullets, being gentle.

Ren nods, " well, i cannot say i enjoy being injured, but it was unavoidable. i will not shy away from pain in order to do my duty."

Tai hums softly as she keeps cleaning and pulling bullets, "well let's just be thankful these goons didn't expect to deal with a basilisk. These bullets, while uncomfortable and dangerous im sure, are not meant for a basilisk. Sure they got in but I have seen ammo meant for a basilisk and they are not... pleasant. "

Ren nods, " indeed, they got through my scales but they did not penetrate nearly as deeply as they would have without my scales." his skin twitches, " i have not seen such things, but i do not care to face them."

Tai hums,  "agreed.  I hope you never have to see such bullets. " she finishes up removing the bullets and begins to grab some ointment, "Would you like this stuff on your wounds? It'll make the area numb and also keep bacteria out. Ah, it's up to you though. I just- I used it when I get injured since my room is very humid which isn't always best for open wounds."

Ren nods, " please, i often do humidity soaks, and infections are regretfully pretty common for us. but we have good immune systems to help kick it. i'd rather not deal with it if i don't have to though."

Tai nods and happily applies the salve, not being shy about it since she wants to make sure she gets it everywhere it needs to be, "Alright, that about does it."

Ren twists to inspect her job and nods, " you have my thanks. having those in me would have slowed me down during the next part of our mission. is there anything else you can think of we should prepare?"

Tai blinks before humming,  "not that I can think of... honestly I'm not good with uh, planning. Ina and sally are better at that than I am. "
