Orion was about to take a bite of food however he pauses when he hears rens last bit and he blinks in confusion, "what?"

[Namari]

Ren shakes his head, " eat first, i will elaborate after. im not entirely certain how to explain it anyway."

[MissyLooni]

orion blinks again before shrugging and going back to eating, making sure to scarf everything

[Namari]

Ren slowly eats his meal, blinking when Orion scarfs his food down. " well i suppose you did burn through a lot of energy most likely. do you need more sustenance?"

[MissyLooni]

Orion pauses his chewing, both cheeks packed to the brim with food making him look like a chipmunk. He feels himself blushing, his engorged cheeks turning a deeper shade of blue as he realizes he probably looks ridiculous however that just makes his cheeks feel more stuffed.
His ears lower and he slowly goes back to chewing,  knowing he can't reply or even defend his actions with a full mouth and spitting his food out was out of the question. 
Orion looks away from ren,  working on the food bit by bit until he is finally able to swallow it all,  "i- uh. Sorry, that was rather...I should have watched my manners."

[Namari]

Ren tilts his head, " what? i don;t care about that, you are hungry, it's only you and i here. i asked if you needed more food."

[MissyLooni]

Orions face turns more blue, "I care though! I was taught manners! I didn't mean to eat so fast."

[Namari]

Ren sighs, " that isn;t the point. i was simply concerned for you. im sorry i mentioned anything."

[MissyLooni]

Orion's ears droop and he swallows his food before wiping his mouth in case there were any crumbs, "no, dont apologize. You meant well I just- I am very self conscious because of how i was raised."

[Namari]

Ren sighs, " i am aware. the question still is, do you need more food?"

[MissyLooni]

Orion pauses briefly before humming softly, "n-no i think im good."

[Namari]

Ren nods and finishes his meal, lifting his plate and using his long tongue to get every scrap of food off the plate.

[MissyLooni]

Orion sees Ren do this and his eyes widen slightly, forgetting that his friend has such a long tongue, "are you doing that on purpose?"

[Namari]

Ren blinks, " i do not like to waste food." he licks his lips and sets his plate aside, " also it tasted good."

[MissyLooni]

Orion blinks briefly before chuckling and shakes his head, "it felt like you did that for another reason, sorry. Anyway, im done now so we can put our trays away and check out the infirmary like you mentioned."
