Ren grins, " well that's for me to know now isn't it? yes, lets go. this will be... interesting." he sets his tray aside and gets up, heading towards the infirmary.

Orion follows next to Ren and hums softly, "I suppose so.c

The two jewels are still floating in the air, hovering but also staying put

Ren steps into the infirmary and spots the jewels, then steps to the side so that Orion can see them. " go ahead. One of them spoke to me by the way when i touched it, the voice was feminine, and called you it's son. So do with that what you will."

Orion stops for a brief moment, his eyes wide when he sees the jewels, "oh..." he hesitantly approaches and gently touches one of them, both of the jewels starting to glow a soft white as well as Orions own embedded gem.

the jewels lower a little bit before a near see through blue holograph of two galakins, a man and a woman who both looked tired but relieved. They wore something similar to Orion's outfit that he was given from Missy only theirs were adorned with rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. They both each had their own crown as well and their jewels floated right where it would be in their chest if they were alive.

The woman smiles softly as she looks at Orion, "Orion, my son, I'm so glad you are well now." unlike before with Ren where he was the only one who could hear her, this time their voices were able to project so it could be heard by anyone.

Orion blinks and his eyes start to water, "m-mom?" he tries to take her hand only to frown when his hand goes right through her, "you...you and dad..."

This time the man speaks up, "My apologies Orion, but there is no way for physical contact... we are using the last of our energy to speak with you." his voice was soft, "but lets not worry about that for now, lets just be thankful for what we can do."

Ren blinks as he watches, noting the...crowns? that was an interesting detail.

Orion sighs as he gives a hesitant nod, "How.... how is this even possible? You two are technically.... gone... not that im not happy to see you both but..."

The dad nods, "I understand your confusion, and while there is so much to explain there is also little time."

The mom hums softly, "This whole universe is made up of the energy that gives us life, if you store enough of it then what we are doing can be possible for a short amount of time. Although your father and I need each other in order to do this task."

Orion blinks, "its a two person thing?"

She nods, "For us yes, for you no. There are two types of galakins. Those who have the ability to store endless amounts of energy and those who can only expend it. I can only store energy and your father is only able to use the energy. You, however, were born with the unique ability to do both. Both you and your brother were born with that ability. Its.... unfortunate that he was killed..."

The father's face scrunches briefly to despair however he quickly recollects himself before clearing his throat, "As im sure you know, some galakins that died ended up in the caverns, the burial grounds, while others were brought to certain locations to become a star, planet, moon, anything that could help continue this universe's life cycle. The galakins that stored energy were put in the caverns while those that gave off energy were turned into life givers. Each jewel in the cavern was connected to a certain galakin jewel out in space, which in turn was connected to a living galakin back on our planet. This was our duty as galakins. To give life where the universe needed the most."

Orion sighs, "I mean, I know all of that now. What-" he huffs a bit, "What HAPPENED to me back at the capital for sector two. I slipped into that weird slime shit and then was overloaded with so much information before passing out and i did some... pretty terrible stuff from the sounds of it." he doesnt want to look at ren. he still feels bad for hurting people

Ren just kind of stands back and listens, mentally storing all the information he's learning away. it took 3 galakins then to power each star planet moon, whatever? two dead ones and one living. but that couldn;t be really true since there weren;t that many live galakins left, planets from them must still be able to survive without that link.

The father frowns and holds his wife's hand, "I cant say for sure what material that terrible thing was made out of but every sector has one, i know of that. It was filled with not only the hearts of the galakins from our caverns but also those that were stars... That black liquid is viscous and it feeds off of our light and since it was filled with a great number of galakin hearts and everyone's energy the only place that energy could finally go was into you. It was probably very overwhelming and terrifying but you did an amazing job stopping the explosion."

The mother nods, "We couldnt be more proud of you. Thanks to you the hearts that are life givers were able to go back to their respected places and the stars that were already under control with that same black stuff was freed and they also returned to their correct locations."

Orion blink, "So... if those stars all went back, what happened to the jewels that weren't stars? where did they go?"

"Ah most of them didnt make it. they shattered in the explosion since they were weakening. Those that survived went back to our caverns to continue their duties while the rest you would have absorbed." she hums softly as she stated this

Orion frowns, "I... absorbed them? is that why my hands have been...." he holds up his hands, a dusting of glitter looking particles follows his hands.

The father nods, "The stars and hearts are returning back to normal and therefore they are expecting a galakin to help them continue restoring the universe. I know this is a lot of sudden information and responsibility being dropped into your lap so suddenly but I have no doubt that if anyone can restore the life cycle of the stars it is you."

Orion stiffens a little, looking terrified, "me...?" it was practically a squeak, "i- I dont know- I mean- it wasnt too long ago where i didnt know how to fucking bathe myself I- You cant- I dont know if-" He felt like the air was suddenly sucked out of his lungs as the daunting realization that he was being asked to save the entire universe

Ren moves close enough to put a hand onto Orions shoulder, " calm yourself. breathe. If you let yourself be frozen by fear you will be unable to act."

Orion looks up at ren and shivers, "But im just...one person. How am i..."

The mom hums softly, "While it is true that you are the only one who can perform a unique task It is not like you are doing this alone. You are already traveling with a group of individuals who also wish to return the stars back to their rightful glory. If they understand what must be done then they will no doubt assist you in however you see fit."

The dad nods, "You play an important role at the center of each sector however you needn't fight, plan, or travel alone."

Orion quickly looks back at his parents, "I have to do all of that again? The explodey thing? But- That whole planet was destroyed in the process and i got seriously hurt."

"Son," the King's face was stern, "The planet was man made to hold and hide away their greed and with you separated from that place caused it to become unstable. It was going to explode regardless, just like the other sectors that had sent away their galakins. You did not cause the explosion, if anything you kept as much energy as you could from coming forth and reeking havoc. If you can get to the other sectors that are in danger before they explode then you can avoid such a thing from happening again."

The mom smiles softly, "I know it is terrifying but just trust yourself and trust in your power. The more you use your abilities the easier it will be to navigate such power and the likelihood of you getting injured from an explosion will decrease greatly."

The father nods, "That too. You're injury is from your body experiencing such great power for the first time and not knowing how to let it flow. Now, we are running short on power so please, if you or your Basilisk friend have any questions now is the time to ask."

Rens tail lashes slowly as he thinks, " while i have little desire to put Orion into such danger again, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. If we do this, the stars comes back for all?"

The king nods, "As long as that black material is destroyed which it should once Orion is able to destroy it. That substance is strong enough to block out even our brightest star."

Orion frowns, "you mentioned the black stuff becoming unstable once I had left the sector, and that the other sectors are also in trouble. Does that mean one that doesnt have another galakin could explode at any minute?"

Both of them nod silently, the room feeling tense with that knowledge

Orion shudders a little, "Can you.... can you tell if there is a sector we should head to first?"

The queen shakes her head, "If anyone can answer that question it is you."

Orion frowns, "I... dont understand."

"the closer the material gets to failing the hearts and stars inside will be able to call out for help. It is not something any normal person can hear but you should be able to hear it, an uneasy sound that calls for you." she adds

The young galakin blinks and perks up a little, "Oh... yeah i did hear that when we got close enough to my sector. I thought maybe i just.... was stressed out and having auditory hallucinations."

Ren nods, " then i will do all i can to protect him while he does this." he sighs softly, " i suppose we ask them to take us to the different sectors and see which ones seem the worst."

The mom hums, "While we do not know which one is worse off we at least know which sectors do not have galakins currently residing in them."

The king nods, "yes. Currently sector 7 and 5 are in danger. 2 has already restored itself and we... can not sense sector 1 for some reason. 3, 4 and 6 are currently safe although they will need to be tended to at some point."

Ren's eyes widen, " sector 7 is in danger?"
