Ina blinks before humming softly, "Xxaliat knows her way around building such things. She is usually in the gardens."

Orion frowns a little, "csh-chzee-"

Ina chuckles softly, "She isn't offended if you call out to her with the name Lia."

Ren chuckles, " that is an issue i am familiar with. Xxaliat is a lovely name, but i can see how most species would have trouble pronouncing it."

Ina nods, "it took me a long time to get used to it but I try to make it a point to say everyone's name."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " fair. though do not hurt yourself trying, some vocal boxes are simply not made for certain sounds. Shall we go visit her Orion?"

ina nods, "i'll set course for the 7th sector and start doing intermitted scans to see if anyone is the area has any need for assistance in the meantime. please let me know if you guys need anything else."

Orion looks at ina and nods before looking at ren, "yeah lets go see if we cant find Lia."

Ren nods, " thank you. we will let you know if anything comes up." he heads from the room, pulling out his tablet and checking the map, " looks like... this way?"

Orion places his hand on the ship corridor, the area around the wall turning a light blue, "yeah about there. It seems to be pretty out of the way."

Ren blinks when the wall turns blue, " well that's new."

[MissyLooni]

Orion flinches and quickly pulls his hand away, "Ah- I uh. when i went to take that shower earlier i touched the walls and i was able to see where the power travels in this ship, kind of creating a map... i assume its because this ship uses... my people to power it..."

Ren nods, " perhaps be careful using that around anyone else. well, lets get going then." he starts walking towards where the gardens are.

Orion blinks and nods, bringing his hands close to his chest to keep them away from the walls before following ren to the gardens

Ren glances back at him, " i wonder if a pair of gloves would prevent that reaction?" he steps into the garden, " Xxaliat?"

the garden is massive and very well thought out with special heat lamps and humidity boxes to keep certain fruit bearing trees alive, and other plants that did not like that sort of thing to be much farther away.

Several crew members were in the gardens, taking notes on the health of the garden as well as any necessary repotting, watering, and light adjustments that needed to happen.

One person was close by and glances over at ren, "Ah, Lia is in the center of the gardens where the mooshi apples grow."

Orion blinks and frowns, "....m-mushy apples?"

The person blinks before sneering, "no. Mooshi apples. it's the tri-colored apple tree, havent heard of the-"

A girl comes over and roughly punches him in the arm, "Jacob, quit being such an ass and get back to pollinating the flowers!" she looks at ren and orion as Jacob grumbles and grabs another q-tip.

"I apologize for Jacob's attitude. The Mooshi was an amazing tree to have on our home planet, back when it existed, so jacob just gets a little sore about it. Um, so just walk to the center and you should see a tree with pink, brown, and tan leaves. Thats the tree and it should be where Lia is right now."

Ren raises an eyebrow as the guy gets snotty and nods to the girl when she talks to them after scolding the rude man, " i can see how it would be a bitter subject. i am sorry for your loss." he heads for the middle and spots the tree. "Xxaliat?"

Orion gives jacob a quick glare before following ren.

There was a bright green bush in front of the tree, however when ren calls out for Xxaliat the bush rises and turns, showing a young woman. Most of her skin looked like a deep brown oak texture except for her face and her fingers, the bush actually being her hair. she looked like some kind of tree folk thats for sure, "Um, yes? did someone call my name? I'm sorry you'll need to come closer, i dont have much for vision anymore."
