Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

The basement door is locked tight, several deadbolts on the door, all locked

[Namari]

Sato raises an eyebrow, " that's not creepy at all.." he studies the door for a bit before letting Skarmory out, " alright girl, we need to be precise. Steel wing that door! cut it open!"

[MissyLooni]

Akihito's eyes widen and he takes a hesitant step back

[Namari]

Skarmory tilts her head as she studies the door.

Satoshi takes a few steps back out of the way.

Skarmory lifts her wings and they glow before he releases a burst of slashing power at the door, aiming for the hinges and the locks to cut open both sides.

[MissyLooni]

Loud thunks of the locks are heard as the heavy metal hits the ground on both sides of the door.

Aki rubs his arm before hesitantly opening the door. He looks at the concrete stairs and pales slightly, "Can.... can you go first?"

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " yeah. good job girl." he pets the pokemon who croons softly, and heads into the room. He looks around warily, Skarmory walking in behind him.

The larger room is dark, and crowded with metal tables, tubes filled with a green fluid, powered down super computers, wires, and large filing cabinets no doubt filled with information

Aki steps down after satoshi and squeaks when he sees the creepy room, "What... the hell... Did they bring their work home with them? What is all of this?"

[Namari]

Satoshi shrugs and turns on as many lights as he can find, " well, there seems to be no shortage of things to look through, we'll just have to figure out what's useful in locating where they may have gone. we can take a few stacks of papers out with us, or we can stay here and try to go through it. up to you, but it'd be easier to keep organized here i think."

[MissyLooni]

Aki shudders, "Its creepy here... maybe... can we at least bring the papers upstairs to the kitchen? "

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " sure. the house is bigger than our room at the pokemon center, so keeping organized shouldn;t be too hard." he grabs a pile of papers from the desk, " lets try these first." he heads upstairs to the kitchen.

[MissyLooni]

Aki rubs his arms and quickly follows satoshi.

[Namari]

Satoshi goes to the table and sets the papers down, dividing the stack in two and starting to look through the top page in his pile.

[MissyLooni]

Akihito goes through some files and frowns, "Ah.... this is work i think. It's all just genetic mutation shit. If I can remember correctly they were scientists that worked on how to close the gap between pokemon and humans."

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " alright. though we may want to write down any locations they talk about, or other peoples names they mention. got a couple notebooks and pencils? unless you don;t mind us highlighting or marking up the papers while we go."

[MissyLooni]

Aki frowns a bit and sighs, "i suppose....at this point this information would no longer be useful to my parents. Besides, they wouldnt be scientists if they didnt have back ups of everything they printed." He glances at all of the papers, making a face, "ugh. Thats right. They were obsessed with numerals. I could never get a grasp on any number above ten and it was everywhere. The clocks are numerals, the book pages are numerals, so annoying."
