Aki closes his eyes briefly before giving a long sigh, "i'm looking for my parents."

Sato blinks and frowns, " im...sorry to hear that. i'd be happy to help if you'll let me."

Aki crosses his arms and leans against the tree, "you already were. The scientists. They disappeared when... i was really young. 'Bout a decade now i suppose? Somewhere around there..."

[Namari]

He rolls his eyes, " I figured. But I mean I'll keep helping. So they just vanished without a trace? Or what? "

[MissyLooni]

Akihiko's eyes narrow and huffs, "yeah i assumed so..."

Sato nods, " just trying to figure out what you know. Where were they last? Did they send you any letters. "

[MissyLooni]

Aki wipes his face and gives a frustrated sigh, "i got on the bus to go to school and they went to work. I came home and normally they get home in time to make dinner and... no one did. I didn't know what to do so i just.... waited. The police came the next morning...and found me in an empty house with just an eevee. From what i found out they went to work as normal and then left work at their normal time... but just... disappeared. The police were called by their work when the both of them didnt show up that morning for their job. Thats... all i know. "

Sato sighs, " that...sucks. Where did you guys live? "

[MissyLooni]

"Ecruteak city is where i was born and raised...ish."

[Namari]

Sato nods, " well we may want to go there and check things out. Talk to your parents coworkers, and possibly try to interrogate any rocket or other gang members of the area. "

Aki pales slightly, "i... dont really wanna go back there."

[Namari]

Sato frowns, " well it stands to reason it's the best place to start looking. i can go in alone if there's something that makes you uncomfortable there, but you'll know what kind of questions to ask better and who might have leads."

Aki rubs the back of his head, "I... I mean it might be fine... its just... I havent been there since I left. I was forced to gather up anything I wanted to keep in a backpack and go to the police station and wait for someone to pick me up. When I found out it was going to be my Uncle I ran. He was always a creep and he acted inappropriately around me so my mom and dad told him he was supposed to stay away from me and I was to never go near him so... when I found out he was the only family who wanted to take me in I panicked. Ended up being on the road for all these years trying to find any information I could about my parents. I just couldnt accept that the police claimed they couldnt find any evidence. People dont just.... disappear..."

[Namari]

Sato nods, " well that makes me want to hurt the guy honestly, but you're an adult now, you shouldn't fear him. and i have your back. i really think we should try going there, it's got the highest chance of us finding something at least."
