Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Pidgeot huffs, glaring at flygon, not enjoying being one upped. Her wings become erratic in her flapping

Aki nervously pats her head, "Hey now girl, its alright. Flygon is just built differently from you. nothing to get worked up about."

Lucario clings tighter to Aki, whining as he suddenly decides he'd rather be in his pokeball

Flygon stops showing off, tilting his head. he hadn't meant to upset the other, he just wanted to play.

[MissyLooni]

ki looks over at flygon and gives him a smile, "You're alright flygon, i know you didnt mean it. Pidgeot just isnt that great of a flyer thanks to her past owner so she gets a little sensitive."

Pidgeot chirps indignantly, keeping her balance the best she can

Flygon tilts his head, staying next to him.

Sato frowns, " will she be able to keep up? we've got a lot of flying to do. do you have another you can alternate her with?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki pats pidgeot again, "She's okay with endurance. As long as she keeps at an even pace and doesnt try anything silly she will be able to fly for a while. whether it comes as a shock to you or not almost all of my pokemon have some form of handicap because i rescued them from a less than ideal situation."

[Namari]

Sato blinks, " well that is surprising, but i suppose that doesn't surprise me that much when i think about it. you're a good person. that sort of sympathy isn;t a beneficial thing for a competitive trainer, you aren;t so it's fine."

[MissyLooni]

Aki blushes and looks down, pouting, "Well.... i.... wouldnt say that."

Lucario blinks and looks at sato. he shakes his head.

[Namari]

Sato blinks and shrugs, " whatever." he guides Flygon a bit away and flies in silence for a few hours before he waves them towards the ground, guiding flygon down to a ledge on a cliff. He pets the pokemons neck gently, " we're in some heavy gang territory right now, but few of them have flying pokemon. we should be safe here to rest for awhile."

Pidgeot follows and gives a wobbly land, huffing a bit

Aki and lucario get off and he pets pidgeot, "You did a great job. Im really proud of you." He sighs and looks at satoshi, "So are we just resting our flying pokemon for a bit or are we sticking to the ground for a while?"

[Namari]

Sato shakes his head, " ideally resting for a bit then flying again. as i said, this is a rough area. we want to try and stay in the sky. Flygon looks pretty fresh still, so if pidgeot can;t keep going you can use Skarmory."

[MissyLooni]

Akihiko moves back a bit, "Uh yeah no thanks. Skarmory is kinda a scary pokemon..."

[Namari]

Sato frowns, " well if you prefer you can take Flygon. you're lighter than i am anyway so it'll be less strain."

[MissyLooni]

Aki continues to pet pidgeot, "if she isnt up to it... i'll ride flygon."

Lucario watches the area carefully, making sure to stay on high alert

Sato nods, " alright." he pets flygon, who croons and nuzzles his trainer. Sato pets him before pulling a few meal bars from his pack, handing one to Aki, " something to tide us until we reach town in a few hours."

Aki blinks and hesitantly takes the bar from satoshi, "you dont need to feed me..."
