Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Lapras gets them as close as she can, leaving a fin down.

Aki chuckles and gets up,  "ariados i can hold you if it'll make you feel better. "

[Namari]

Ariados chatters in indignation, releasing the webs so she and Aki are no longer lashed down and wiggling her butt before jumping to land.

[MissyLooni]

He snorts softly and shakes his head before going over to satoshi

[Namari]

Sato smiles and dishes up a plate of tender slow cooked cured Tauros roast, along with potatoes, carrot and onions. " here you go. it'll be a bit salty, i washed off the meat before i cooked it, but the curing process still takes a lot of salt. but it keeps it from spoiling." he hands it over before taking the rest, once again eating his half from the pan.

Aki shrugs, "thats fine by me. Im not picky. " he sits down and takes the plate

[Namari]

Sato snorts, " this is good food, you better not be picky about it. just saying it'll be on the salty side." he takes a bite and chews, enjoying the flavors.

[MissyLooni]

Aki shrugs before taking a bite. He pauses and stares at his plate for a long minute, slowly rubbing the food around in his mouth before finally swallowing,  "... that.... that's really good..."

[Namari]

Sato snorts, " you probably like the extra salt, fast food tends to have a lot of it. But thanks, i'll take it as a compliment to my cooking."

[MissyLooni]

Aki blushes and glances away taking another hesitant bite as he gets really quiet

Satoshi blinks and tilts his head, " you okay? i didn;t think that was insulting, you said before you liked fast food."

[MissyLooni]

Aki swallows his food and nods,  "i'm fine. It's... it's not you. I just, like i said. It's been a long time since i had home cooked food. It's... really nice. "

[Namari]

Satoshi smiles, " ah. well im glad you're enjoying it." he hums softly as he digs into his portion.

[MissyLooni]

Aki keeps taking bites, enjoying the flavor of the food

Satoshi soon finishes his meal and sighs happily, " nothing better than home raised tauros meat. i have a couple more chunks so if we stay longer at a campsite like this, we have a few meals more like this one. i think i'll have to buy a couple more onions next time we're in town though, not that it's a big deal."

Aki finishes his plate and sighs, "yeah that was really awesome... thank you."
