Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Aki nods, "yeah im just flipping through these. Most of them are just describing eggs failing." He sets aside whatever file doesnt interests him until he gets to a file with an actual picture of something in a tube, "that... is disturbing." He looks through the information and frowns, "egg incubation is a success, however despite it finally accepting dna from our tester pokemon and growing to 2nd trimester the fetus shortly died due to... complications..."

[Namari]

Satoshi frowns, " that's messed up, they were actually trying to grow something to full maturity? well we know it was part pokemon from that, i wonder what the other part was?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki looks through the other folders briefly before shaking his head, "well... considering all of this stuff talks about... making a bridge to fill the gap between pokemon and humans.... i can only assume..."  He grabs a few more files, opening them, "Yeah... ah human.... from the looks of it. Says here they had at least one that sorta was able to... come out of the tube however it ended of growing a tale so they had to kill it."

[Namari]

Satoshi blinks and pales, " they were making human pokemon hybrids?! and they just... killed one that wasn;t ideal? what the hell?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki flinches and frowns, "Well... apparently they knew things wouldnt be great if it looked like it wasnt human..." something clicks in his brain and his eyes start to water before he quickly gets up and goes to the living room

Satoshi blinks, confused when the other wandered off, " Aki? wait what's wrong? im sorry i got upset, but this is just... it's crazy stuff we're reading."

[MissyLooni]

Aki stares at the photo's and bites his lip, "Of course im upset... but not at you...I..." he picks up one of the frames with a photo and grits his teeth, "They both have black hair and black eyes... I.... I look nothing like them."

Satoshi blinks, then sucks in a hard breath, " oh shit... you don;t really think...or do you?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki quickly runs back to the kitchen and grabs the folder at the bottom, flipping the page open and staring at a picture of himself in the file, "I- I'm a... a monster"

[Namari]

Satoshi hurries after him and shuts the folder, " stop that. you may not be totally human but you're not a monster. you're still the kind hearted man that i've been annoying for the last several days. nothing about the way you were made changes that."

[MissyLooni]

Aki drops the picture and he crumples against satoshi, a broken sob escaping his throat

Satoshi grabs hold on him and hugs him, patting his back. He carefully guides Aki over to the couch and sits them both down.

Akihito sinks into the couch and continues to cry, hiccuping now and then

Satoshi keeps an arm around him, trying to comfort him. After a moment he smiles and lets Ariados out, figuring the sweet natured spider would help cheer him up. She climbs up and snuggles into his lap immediately, chittering.

Aki looks at ariados and he whimpers before gently hugging the spider as he keeps crying
