aki nods and gets up, putting his trash and tray away, "Yeah~ Lets get going~"

Satoshi chuckles at the others excitement before heading out the door, taking a breath to steady himself before heading for the giant building.

Aki follows behind satoshi, keeping lucario's ball in his pocket just in case

Satoshi enters the building, biting his lip, " should... we just start by asking about uh...the people who raised you?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki glances at satoshi,  "i.... don't think thatd be the best approach.  Maybe we could play dumb. Im pretty good at that. Plus, people may actually know you so...."

The receptionist watches the two boys enter and she blinks, squinting briefly,  before clearing her throat,  "excuse me, can i help you two at all?"

Aki looks at her and smiles before walking over,  "hi there! I was wondering what someone had to do in order to become part of the silph corporation family~ I've always wanted to join and after visiting the lab a few towns over fot me really excited. "

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " good idea..." he smiles as he walks over behind Aki, nodding along with Aki's explanation, " yeah, it seems like an ideal job!"

[MissyLooni]

The receptionist blinks, "well first you'd have to actually know something in the science degree. You can know about pokemon like the back of your hand and thats all fair and good but this is science here. With math. We dont let just anyone work here."

Aki nods, "well of course! Id go take college courses and get qualified but i want to know if its worth it. This place seems so prestigious that if you vould work here you'd be able to transfer to just about any other lab pretty easily, right?"

The girl nods, "yes this is the most advanced location in the field. Scientists that work here can easily go anywhere else however even if you're the best in another location its awfully rare to get a spot in here."

Aki makes a soft whistle, "impressive. Thats really something to be proud of."

The girl smiles, her shoulders relaxing a bit, "oh! Yes! We're all proud of our staff and the accomplishments we have made here."

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " we did come a long ways, we're both just so excited to be here. i don;t suppose... maybe we can take a tiny peek at the working areas? just to see what it's like. it would be soooo cool...."

[MissyLooni]

The girl hesitantly bites her lips before glancing at her computer screen, "Ummm.... Let me ask my boss. Stay right there." She gets up and heads to the door behind her, going inside.

Aki looks at satoshi and grins, "So far so good i guess."

[Namari]

Satoshi lets out a breath, " no shit. though you've been the one saying everything right, i mean it'd be a boon if we do get in but that could easily have gone badly."

[MissyLooni]

The girl comes back with a taller man with hair slicked back and a purple suit.

The man sees them both and smirks, "so you two want a tour around the premises, is that right?"

Aki looks at the man and smiles, nodding, "yes! And just some questions so i know where to start with my journey to work here."

[Namari]

Satoshi rubs the back of his neck, " we've love to if it's not too much trouble... i now you guys are awfully busy doing such important work."

[MissyLooni]

The man nods, "sure, sure! We always have plenty of time for those who are interested in this field." He pulls out his key card and uses it on the elevators, "now please, lets begin!"

[Namari]

Satoshi plasters a stupid grin on his face, trying to look giddy and follows the man into the elevator.

Aki gets into the elevator, "you need to use a key just to use the elevator?"

The man nods, "of course! The only public area is the lobby. Everything else requires a key card."

Aki whistles, "but this place looks huge. Isnt it a bother to have key cards for everything? For like, different security? Thats how the other buidling worked."

The man shakes his head, "each employee only needs one card and it is programmed to fit their title so that they can go into any room that they would need to use aside from the restrooms."

Aki blinks, "so... wait, are we only going to see certain rooms that you can go into then? Im fine with that, i just dont want to go somewhere im not allowed. "

The man chuckles, "dont worry, my key has access to everything since i oversee all employees and as long as you two are with me you wont be going into any unauthorized rooms."
