Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Satoshi lets a slight smirk grace his lips before looking serious again, " what was that about how long we'd last?" Flygon settles near his trainer and Satoshi pets his head, " good job, that was excellent." he didn;t want to have to kill that pokemon, but he doubted it was sane anymore, he'd have to put it down for safety... " Flygon, hit it once more with superpower." the flygon looks at his trainer and tilts his head, trilling in confusion. they'd won, the other pokemon was unconscious. " i know buddy, but we have to. please, to make sure other pokemon are safe..." Flygon hesitates but builds up the aura again, charging at the downed pokemon.

Jay snarls and quickly returns Tyranitar before Flygon is able to finish its attack, "Taking a good old page out of my own handbook huh? Have to admit, out of everyone I fought you very well could be the only person who can take me down. Shame for you that Tyranitar isnt my only pokemon. That'd be stupid."

[Namari]

Satoshi sighs as the pokemon is returned before he's able to finish it off, " i don't murder pokemon for the fun of it, but i won;t hesitate to put down ones that are too far gone insane to save. unluckily for you, flygon is not my only pokemon either. you'll have to really step your game up if you want to have a chance." Flygon returns to his trainers side and nuzzles him, Satoshi petting him gently, " you're doing great."

Jay huffs and lets out Beartic, an Ice pokemon that has an advantage over Flygon's type, "Use Blizzard on Flygon! Brownie points if it also hits his trainer!"

Beartic snarls and quickly attacks them both with Blizzard

Flygon leaps in front of Satoshi, taking the full force of the blow, struggling to stand as Satoshi quickly returns him, " good job, rest now." he hadn't expected flygon to be able to last another round anyway after taking that attack from the tyranitar. Pure ice type, that meant no attacks that were ultra effective. fire would be the obvious, and foolish choice. he knew this pokemon knew water type moves. " skarmory, shred this fool! flash cannon!" The steel bird screeches as she's let out from her pokeball and glows brightly before the light is released in a wave at the other pokemon.

Beartic stumbles back and growls loudly, taking a direct hit.

Jay is about to call out the next attack when he clearly sees the flashing red and blue lights of cop cars. He huffs and grabs a pokeball, "Beartic! MAKE IT HAIL."

Beartic roars loudly and performs the move hail, the clouds in the area beginning to dark and cluster as sudden cold winds gust through and it begins to hail, the ice chunks massive and dangerous. Gold ball size.

Jay huffs and lets his Salamance out, jumping on and dropping Beartics pokeball on the ground and smashing it before Salamance quickly takes off into the sky and disappearing.

Satoshi grits his teeth, damn he was getting away! " Sunny day!" Skarmory beats her wings and the sky clears. " Steel wing!" her wings glow and she lunges forward to hit the bear.

The beartic blinks when Salamance flies off with his master and he turns to watch curiously, only to suddenly get knocked to the ground from steel wing. He curls up into a tight ball and starts blubbering loudly.

Aki hears the cries and he looks up quickly, seeing the Beartic and he frowns, "Wa-wait!" He gets up and goes over to the pokemon, "He's scared, Satoshi..." He sees the shattered pokeball and grimaces, "did.... did that guy really just abandon you?"

The daycare workers slowly open their front door, shaking in fear.

The 5 police cars stop a few yards away

Satoshi grimaces, " i didn't see the pokeball, yeah this guy just got abandoned. i was just going to knock him out... Skarmory, you did great." he pets the steel bird who croons before he walks over to the daycare, " is everyone okay? im so sorry i didn't get here sooner, but he's gone for now." he shakes his head and looks over at the police vehicles, " damn... i kinda wish they hadn;t come, i might have been able to finish this..." he rubs the back of his neck.

The day care man sighs, "no need to apologize... we're just thankful that someone strong enough showed up."

Aki sighs when he sees the officers. He doesn't really want to talk with them and instead starts petting Beartic, "hey now, its alright. Fights over. You okay?"

Beartic hesitantly unfurls himself from his ball and whimpers at aki.

Aki tsks softly before hugging beartic, "oh geeze im sorry to hear that..."

The daycare girl hugs a pichu close to her chest and shudders, "i'm glad you came when you did though. " she looks at satoshi, "that guy over there was an idiot. Grabbing onto that monsters mouth like that...he could have been seriously hurt."

Satoshi nods then frowns slightly at the girl, " that idiot probably saved the pokemon here, i was out looking for that guy, and he let me know my quarry was here. i was a ways out though, had he not bought me time im not sure what would have happened." he walks over to Aki, " how's Beartic? He doesn;t seem to be so far gone that he cannot be given a chance at either living wild or having a trainer again."

Aki looks up at satoshi, frowning, "he's only been with that guy for a month. This was only the second time he's been out of his ball. He just thought this was a normal pokemon battle." He looks back at the pokemon and continues to rub Beartics fur to comfort him, "Can't believe tyranitar is that big....he's damn near 15 feet tall... thats twice the size he should be..."
Aki shudders and looks up at Satoshi, "what are we going to do? He wouldnt normally go after buildings and people like that. Im worried maybe he is getting too confident... or he feels like he's running out of weaker pokemon trainers to go after so he thinks he can go for bigger targets."

[Namari]

Satoshi sighs, " cripes, poor thing. yeah, he needs to be taken out sooner rather than later. i'll search for him again soon, but for now i think we should head to the pokemon center. Flygon took a pretty hard hit and i want to make sure he's alright. Your lucario should be seen as well." he looks over at the police, " if you want statements come find us at the pokemon center! we're going to have our pokemon seen to." he pulls out a regular empty pokeball, " here, maybe he'll want to go with you Aki, for now anyway. We can find a good place in the wild for him or a trainer later." he holds it out to Aki.

Aki nods and takes the pokeball, "i know of a spot that is just filled with beartic so if we cant find him a trainer we can always see if those other pokemon will let him join their family..."
Aki looks back at Beartic, "also, i know you werent with him for long but if you know anything about your ex trainer we would appreciate it as well. But its up to you. Please come with us for now?"

Beartic sniffles and calms down with aki talking to him. He wasnt used to trainers actually understanding him which made him more intrigued than scared. He chuffed softly before gently pressing his snoot against the front of the pokeball, accepting aki easily as he goes into the pokeball.

Aki sighs and puts the ball in his bag for now, "yeah lucario needs to be seen as soon as possible. He also needs another lecture i guess." He frowns and rubs his arm, "also, thanks for showing up when you did. I know i said i was going to stay at the center but when that girl came in i... panicked. Especially hearing that bastard was so close to the daycare. S'pose the old me that always has to get in between a fight is still somewhere in me." He hesitantly chuckles, trying not to feel awkward about the whole thing

Satoshi nods, " sounds like a plan. and don;t be sorry, you probably saved lives with your action. im sorry you had to get involved. next time i will leave one of my pokemon with you, just in case. Luxray maybe, he's good at fighting without me directing him, and you two seem to get along."
