Aki is quiet for a minute before shaking his head, "i dont think she has mites. Im pretty anal about everyone's care and she's never complained about being itchy before."

Satoshi shrugs, " well regardless that's why they have the instinct to dust bathe."

Pidgeot chirps for a little bit and Aki's expression falls to a deadpan, "Are you..... are you serious Pidge? Thats not a good reason to get dirty!"
Pidgeot looks away innocently and begins pecking the ground away from Aki

Satoshi raises an eyebrow, " what'd she say?"

"She purposefully gets dirty just so that I clean her with her favorite brush."

[Namari]

Satoshi laughs, " why am i not surprised.

[MissyLooni]

Aki shakes his head, despite the smile on his face, "man, what am i gonna do with her."

Satoshi grins, " that's your issue, i have nothing to do with it."

[MissyLooni]

Aki sighs and grabs a brush meant for birds out of his backpack and goes over to her, "Well she does have me in a checkmate since i obviously dont want her to be dirty."

Pidgeot sees him and quickly stops moving, chirping excitedly to get some good brush pets

Skarmory looks up from her enthusiastic dust bath and chirps softly, head tilted.

Satoshi shakes his head, " you've got metal feathers hon, you're not wrangling me into this. a rinse off will have you back to perfect condition."

Aki chuckles, "sometimes its less about the brushing and more about the attention."

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " uh huh, and im not letting mine get so spoiled. come on, away you go." he holds up the pokeball and Skarmory considers it for a moment before returning.

Aki pouts, "so what if i spoil them a bit~? My pokemon are unique and i need to make sure they know i love them"

Satoshi raises his hands, " and that's fine for you! i work on a ranch, there's too much to do and too many pokemon to give them all that kind of extra attention. and you know if i do it for one, they're all gonna want it."

Aki flinches a little, not used to that and he frowns and looks away, "I...wasnt saying you had to spoil them..."
