Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

" i know, and im just explaining why i don't. sorry, this turned into way more of a thing than i intended. lets just drop it okay?" He finishes his snack and packs the trash away in his bag.

Aki quietly finishes brushing pidgeot before putting the brush away and sitting down away from satoshi. He could go for a long island right about now...

Satoshi sighs and lets Rapidash out, letting her stretch her legs while he waits for Aki to be ready to go.

[MissyLooni]

Aki lets pidge go back in her ball and lets arcanine out. He pats his side before getting on and arcanine eagerly starts running towards their destination

Satoshi blinks as Aki takes off, quickly mounting up and urging Rapidash to follow after. cripes, he really hadn;t meant that to turn into an argument or upset the other. well, that was part of why he was staying away from the whole relationship thing, he didn;t exactly have good luck with it.

Aki lays down on arcanines body, hugging his neck a little as he sighs. This is why he didnt do relationships. He just could never get it right. He wasnt used to having someone long term near him.

Satoshi checks his map to make sure they're on the right trail, and seeing that they lets Rapidash do what she wants, which is to immediately run past Arcanine and stay ahead of him to avoid the flying slobber from the massive dog pokemon and to stay out of licking range.

After a few hours Aki stops arcanine as they come to a large and busy bridge that rests over a large river, a dam a mile down

Satoshi eases Rapidash to slow down, " where do you think, upstream or down? i doubt they'll be in a place this busy."

[MissyLooni]

Aki hums softly, "....downstream. where the dam is. I want to gake a closer look. See if we cant find any pipes or something weird that could lead us to a facility."

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " good idea." he pats Rapidash's neck, " alright girl, get us closer?" the horse pokemon snorts and starts off the path downstream, picking her way across the rougher terrain carefully.

[MissyLooni]

Aki looks at arcanine, "be careful of the water, okay?"

Arcanine boofs softly and does his best to actually focus on a task

Rapidash snorts and startles when she finds a trail, glancing back at her trainer. Satoshi looks down at it, " looks like an atv trail, i think we're on the right track."

[MissyLooni]

arcanine follows rapidash, doing his best to not lick the horse pokemon.

Aki feels nervous as he glances around, the trail going lower towards the river

Rapidash keeps far enough ahead to avoid getting licked anyway as she follows the trail down. When they reach the river concrete and structures greet them, hidden from the main roads.
