Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Aki huffs, "then I'll kick all of their asses. They shouldn't be preying on people."

Satoshi shrugs, " it's an entire economy around the championship. some parts or more moral than others. there's plenty of people who sell pokemon to give trainers a competitive edge, drugs, boosting items, services, such a large gathering attracts all sorts, honest businessmen and predators alike, which are often difficult to tell apart."

[MissyLooni]

Aki tsks softly, "I don't care if trainers get scammed out of their money or whatever so who cares about those predators. I just mean the ones who actually prey on naive kids. The secual predators. "

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " yeah i guess so."

[MissyLooni]

Aki sighs softly and shakes his head, "Sorry, that kind of thing just really bothers me. I'll.... just keep my mouth shut though."

[Namari]

satoshi rubs the back of his neck, " just not something i like to think about ya know?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods, "that's fair, I don't blame you for not wanting to talk about it." Aki gets quiet as he pets pidgeot, trying to keep himself from talking about it

Satoshi keeps flygon going for awhile longer before spotting a good spot to land and gesturing to it, " looks like a good spot for a rest!"

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods and has pidgeot land, checking her wing out briefly, "Yeah I think just to be careful that a switch will need to be done. Proud of you though. Flying for that long isn't something you're used to."

[Namari]

Satoshi pets Flygon before returning him, pulling out two pokeballs and letting out Skarmory and Noivern. Noivern starts complaining instantly about it being bright, grumbling. Skarmory walks over to Pidgeot and nuzzles her happily.

[MissyLooni]

Pidgeot chirps happily and returns the nuzzling. She was a little out of breath but otherwise seemed okay.

Aki reaches into his bag and pulls out some water for pidgeot

Skarmory settles next to her friend to wait while they rest up.

Satoshi soothes Noiverns metaphorically ruffled feathers with treats before pulling out some protein bars, handing one to Aki before eating his own for lunch.

[MissyLooni]

Aki sets a bowl of water for pidgeot, making sure there was enough in case skarmory wanted some. He looks at satoshi and he brushes some of his styled hair out of his face and taking the protein bar, "thanks!"
He smiles at satoshi

Skarmory settles down next to Pidgeot, makign sure the tired pokemon drinks first before taking a bit for herself, chatting softly with the other pokemon.

Satoshi blushes a bit, " ah, no problem."

[MissyLooni]

Pidgeot does drink a little, happily listening to skarmory talk.

Aki unwraps the bar and munches it, trying to focus on something else other than pidgeot and skarmory's conversation.
 They weren't talking about anything secretive but it was still their conversation and he didn't want to listen in on it.
