Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Aki snorts, "well he seems a little too gung ho to toss me to the side but sure, being with me is good for him. "

She raises an eyebrow, " that doesn;t sound like him. wanna tell me what happened?" she scratches beartic under the chin

Aki sighs and scratches the back of his before explaining Jay's deal and what happened.

[Namari]

Emma makes a rude noise, " well no wonder. he's got a little bit of a hero complex, when we needed him he dropped his whole future with pokemon to come home and help. he's self sacrificing, he sees everyone else as more important than he is. so of course he'd send you off where it was safe and risk himself. that guy he screwed around with fucked up his self worth."

[MissyLooni]

Aki huffs, "Yeah well i didnt ask to be sent off and im not some damsel in distress."

beartic makes soft huff sounds before plopping onto all fours and rubbing his face against Aki.

Aki almost stumbles back a bit but he chuckles and pets beartic, "sorry, i know, i know. you would have helped out if i called you out. But I was afraid of having you fight against your previous trainer. I didnt think that was fair to do to you so soon, okay?"

Emma shrugs, " he's an idiot. was it fair? no, but he wanted to protect you. Men aren't known for thinking in the heat of the moment, and he's especially stupid when it comes to people he cares about."

[MissyLooni]

Aki grumbles, "well if he's going to be dumb like that then I should tell him I'm done doing this whole adventure thing with him."

[Namari]

She rolls her eyes, " yeah, you could do that. kind of harsh to do to someone who tried to protect you with his life but i can see it."

[MissyLooni]

Aki huffs, "well if Jay shows up again and satoshi tries to send me off again then what am I supposed to do? What if next time satoshi actually gets- " aki struggles a bit  before shaking his head, "if satoshi is going to 'sacrifice' himself when it's not wanted then I'm going to make sure he at least can't do that for me."

[Namari]

Emma raises an eyebrow, " that's not a conversation you need to be having with me honey, that's something you need to talk about with him. From the sounds of it i doubt my brother will back down so easily next time, knowing his strength compared to this other guys, and also knowing that death isn;t on the line."

[MissyLooni]

Aki sighs,  "trust me. The only reason why I'm here now is because he promised we'd talk about it here. Otherwise I was ready to hand him the pokemon that were gonna stay here and just leaving. "

[Namari]

She nods, " sounds like he realizes there's something not quite right then. you two will figure it out. trust me, everything seems so complicated when you're as young as you are, it's not as bad as it seems."

[MissyLooni]

Aki sighs,  the anger subsiding a little,  "y- yeah I guess... anyway I'll guess I'll check on him. Thanks again for taking beartic."

Emma nods, " i know you're feeling hurt, but seriously, he wouldn't have done it if he didn't care about you."

[MissyLooni]

Aki shakes his head, "thanks but that doesn't make me feel better. But again, I'll be talking to him about that." He heads out and goes back to the house
