She nods, " indeed he is. I can see if he's willing to come meet you, so you may see if he meets your expectations. If he's permitted to leave the district, he will be able to do what his species is known for, and not only increase his own fortunes, but that of the district as well. i am certain he will be agreeable to attempt to win this young lady over. It does not hurt that he's a handsome and charming young man. Even if she does not select him as a mate, she may be willing to argue in his favor once she hears his plight and aid him that way. either way, win win."

"I...suppose. for now i just hope she responds to my text. i know its a lot for her to consider and if she agrees she will need to find a way to make this sound like a thing that will benefit makoto specifically which will be hard as it is so for now im just focusing on her getting here."

" indeed. perhaps it may be implied that there are untapped resources we have that someone with her sensibilities may be able to sniff out. after all, you humans do love the things we are able to provide. Caladrius tears are one of our most coveted items, giving just a drop to a human will make them speak only truth for about an hour. we limit how much we allow out, that's a powerful thing to be in the hands of our enemies. Takana sighs,  "maybe.... unless she asks in leaving the reasoning up to her. She knows makoto better than anyone. "

She nods, " fair enough. im simply giving you options. you worry about getting her here, i'll worry about the rest. now, did you want to meet Indigo or not? I can get him over here."

Takana nods, "might as well. I should meet new people anyway. I know hundreds of humans so I should also meet new demons when i get the chance."

" very well. i'll call him and explain a bit of the situation. you just sit tight." she hums as she heads to another room, pulling out a phone and making the call, chatting away to the person who answers. After a few minutes she comes back in, " he'll be over shortly. he does not know your true connection to her, or that you're human. not that i think he'd mind, but the fewer who know, the less likely it'll be to get out."

takana sighs, "yeah id rather keep my deal a secret so that it doesnt get back to the wrong people."

"precisely." After about 10 minutes a young man with dark grey hair and eyes walks in, feathers interspersed in his hair dull and tarnished looking.

He looks at Arakan's mother and bows deeply at the waist before looking at Takana, " i presume you are the one im here to speak with regarding to see if i am an acceptable candidate for this proposal of hers? i admit it's intriguing. My name is Indigo, rank C, Alicanto. im aware i am low rank for such an important task, however despite my lack of offensive capabilities, i have great defensive capabilities. and If i am allowed to leave this district, i can secure great wealth."

Takana sighs, "I just need to know if you will be a good friend to Isabelle first. I'm not even going to consider you being a potential partner when she still has a husband and is very loyal to him despite how better she could have it. that sounds wrong to me, cheaty in a way and i am in no way about to have that happen if i can help it." he pulls out his phone and and does a quick internet search before showing a picture to Indigo. It was a magazine cover featuring a beautiful garden in the background, and an even more gorgeous Isabelle in the forefront, "This is Isabelle. She tends to be very shy and timid but she is also sharp like her father."
Really anyone could look up the infamous beauty that is Isabelle Kuroshiba. Some say her kindness and sincerity is the only reason why that family hadnt gone through any serious scandal's. She handles the spotlight and paparazzi and its rare to find a human that didnt like her. She's even been on TV show's involving being interviewed that can be found on youtube.

He peers at the photo and smiles, " very well. Either way she is quite easy on the eyes, this will be no chore. Is there anything you would like to know about me?"

takana hums, "whatever you're willing to share. I consider Isabelle my sister so i need to be thorough when vetting anyone even if they just wish to be friends."

He tilts his head, " very well. As you are aware, my name is Indigo, i am 24 years of age and i am an Alicanto. Presently my job is identifying real minerals and metals from fakes. i am the second son of 3 sons in my family, and i have one very young sister. I can't say i ever foresaw myself courting a human, but i am not opposed to it. i have heard you are not very familiar with most demons so you are probably unaware of my defensive ability. Never ask an Alicanto to sing, if our song is directed at you, it will make you dizzy and disoriented, often nauseous. After a few moments it will effectively disable all but the highest rank demons. Even if it is not directed at you, it will make you dizzy and disoriented, although to a far lesser extent."

"You are befriending a human. Befriending. Courting is her decision. Isabelle loves all animals despite being scared of dogs, she is a botanist so plants are important to her, and she has high level of skill involving oil pants. Do you have a problem with any of these things that would make you unable to befriend her?"

He hums softly, " i have no qualms about any of this. Plants do not particularly interest me, however they do not bother me in any way. Animals are also fine, and i do not particularly care for dogs. Art is a lovely thing to look at, though i have no interest in making it. I do not care if another does so, so i do not see it causing any problems." he shrugs.
