"I.... I promised Izanagi that i wouldnt let anything happen to him. A-and there are a few times where the humans SHOULD be questioned. I just- I- I'm sorry that i keep making more problems for you....."

Arakan sighs, " if they didn't have complete control then yes, i would question it. but while you get to leave, everyone else here has to remain. we will be the ones that will have to deal with this. Hopefully it doesn;t change anything, but i doubt they'll take it lightly. i just hope we can smooth things over before things get too out of hand." he goes to rub the back of his neck and winces.

Takana looks down and rubs his arm, "I-.... I just need to get people to realize you guys wont hurt humans and then..." his eyes begins to water a little, "im sorry...."

Arakan sighs, " which is a really nice thing you wish to do, but centuries of hate will not change in a few weeks. we need the humans to support us and back us up before you start pissing off the ones that like to shoot us." he gently grabs Takana's arm and pulls him down onto the couch, putting an arm around him.

Takana blinks and doesnt fight Arakan pulling him however he is a little stiff at first, since this wasnt something he was used to arakan doing. It doesnt take him long to relax though, thankful to have more contact, "I just hope everything goes well for Isabelle's visit."

Arakan sighs, " yeah, me too." the conversation from the previous day with Nikiri comes to mind and he flushes a bit, " ah, so on another note since there's nothing we can do about what happened today, is there anything that's been bothering you?"

Takana blinks and looks up at arakan, "bothering me? like....i mean i guess there are things that bother a lot of people so i dont really know what you mean. Do you mean like since i've been here or in general?"

Arakan closes his eyes, " well, ah, Nikiri reminded me that you came from a unique situation... and while i do not support humans breeding us like... livestock, you are here regardless. And he mentioned that you likely have some... pent up energy that you've been unable to deal with."

Takana's eyes widen and his face flushes a bright red, stuttering as he tries his best to rationalize WHY nikiri would say something so absurd, "i- look. I appreciate you wanting to make sure I'm okay but regardless of why I'm pent up is no one's business but my own. Now I'm going to need to give nikiri a swift kick in the dick for saying such a thing. "

Arakan sighs, " it's not your fault you were bred that way. Normally I'd consider it inappropriate to offer, but you have special circumstances."

Takana shudders, "it IS an inappropriate offer... I.... I'm not like Izanagi where im just okay with talking about this stuff or acting upon that kind of thing. I'd prefer to at least have someone. go on dates and stuff. Despite how brash and crude i can act sometimes I DO prefer the old fashioned way of these things...."

Arakan lifts his hands defensively, " very well. However you now know the offer is there. It wouldn't be right for us to make a pretense of dating simply to relieve your needs."

Takana looks up at arakan and smiles, nodding a little, "I'm glad we can both agree on something for once. But um... as embarrassing as it is to say I am okay with hugs. I wont lie, I am very much used to being hugged back home so i'm not used to going for so long without some form of...." takana's blushes a little, feeling embarrassed about talking about something that feels so childish

Arakan blinks then puts his arm around Takana to pull him close, " that request i can grant with ease."

Takana blinks and he quickly feels his body relaxing. He hums softly and lets himself lean on arakan a little, "um... thank you. I know it seems silly but this means a lot to me..."
