Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Makoto crosses his arms and frowns, "little yori called me today. He told me he hasnt been able to get a hold of Takana. Apparently they had plans. So i went to his apartment only to find it empty aside from a few things. Care to explain?"

[Namari]

Kahana snorts softly, " the little brat refused to do his duty to his family by providing an heir. It's not your fault of course that you and Isabelle... regardless we need to have an heir to the company even if he's less than ideal. Yori is too young yet, and your step father isn't getting any younger. After Takana behaved ungratefully i reminded him who paid for his apartment and his college, as well as everything else. He preferred to strike off on his own."

[MissyLooni]

Makoto gives a soft sigh. Typical of his mother... "don't you think that was a risky move with his father still alive? What if he finds out what you've done and is less than pleased? Besides,  Takana wasn't a threat since he didn't want to take over the business anyway so you would have had plenty of time to wait for yori to grow up."

Makoto looked at his mom and walked over to her,  "i know you want the best for us but there's no need to rush the plan mother. "

[Namari]

Kahana lets a long breath out her nose, " i know, i lost my temper. i though by getting him married i'd kill two birds with one stone, making sure he's settled and out of our way and ensuring that there's at least one heir to put my husbands mind at ease, but he was such a brat about it. well, we can always say he decided to quit school and run off, he's always been a willful and unpredictable child, it's not so far out of his usual behavior."

[MissyLooni]

Makoto raises an eyebrow,  "and will that be the same thing you tell little yori? He actually liked Takana for some odd reasons."

[Namari]

She nods, " he knows his half brother is unpredictable. best to keep stories the same after all." she sighs, " i know it's less than ideal but how was i supposed to know he was going to be such a little brat?"

[MissyLooni]

Makoto sighs,  "you wouldnt. Thats why we need to not let our tempers get the best of us."

[Namari]

Kahana sighs, " well what's done is done. i have no clue where he ran off to, i had someone watching the apartment but he never came back."

[MissyLooni]

Makoto snorts, "with your temper i dont blame him. Alright. I'll try to keep the old man as busy as possible so he doesnt realize his son is gone. Hopefully since i'll be busy doing that i can count on you to keep Yori in line?"

[Namari]

Kahana snorts, " Actually i was already working on keeping my dear husband busy. Seems we have some fraud in the company, looka t these sheets." she holds out the papers, " something isn;t adding up, i suspect one of our financial keepers is skimming a little off the top. normally i'd overlook it, but this is just the distraction we need for him. As for Yori, set him up for a trip to the beach or to a ski resort, that'll keep him happy for a bit. As troublesome as he can be it's also fairly easy to keep him occupied."

Makoto blinks before sighing softly, "Alright. Im sure a trip away will help take his mind off things." He pulls out a notebook and gently tosses it on the desk, "If that soon to be ex-financial keeper isnt enough to occupy Mr. Kuroshiba then by all means pick something something from Takana's book i found in the apartment. This book is full of idea's he had for the company including a microchip device to replace the collars. I'm sure we can always tweak a few things as well to help us keep those damned beasts in their place."

[Namari]

Kahana hums and takes the book, " as much as i hate the idea of using something he came up with, one of these will probably keep him occupied for some time." she hums, " before we send Yori off on a trip, perhaps you ought to take him with you in the company to shadow you, he needs more learn more responsibility."

[MissyLooni]

Makoto nods, "I will see if I can get him to come with. I do not want to overwhelm him and have another fiasco on our hands. nothing worse for headlines than not one missing celebrity but two."

[Namari]

Kahana nods, " true...he's more well known as well." she sighs, " why must both he and Takana be so troublesome? You're such a good boy, so it can;t be my genes that cause Yori to be so wild."

Makoto chuckles, "I know where are place was before this marriage. little yori and that brat know nothing else than a perfect life."
