Takana quickly shakes his head and looks away, "No. not at the moment. to be fair i wasnt great in my own history classes because frankly some of the events of the past were boring."

Izanagi nods, " fair...um, anyway, i guess we should get ready?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods and starts getting ready, "Thanks for humoring my questions. I know they seem.... stupid..."

[Namari]

Izanagi shrugs, " no more stupid than any other questions. how can you know? i highly doubt the humans would portray us as anything other than evil and horrible and we're kept under control for the good of everyone including ourselves."

Takana looks uncomfortable as he gets ready. he wasnt denying what izanagi said... the media really only had news about all the terrible things that happened because of demons.... but he still ended up giving izanagi a chance with the whole roommate thing so its not like every human believed it...

Izanagi gets ready and grabs his bag, " alright, im ready when you are."

Takana nods and heads out, making sure he sticks close to izanagi since he was still nervous about that weirdo

Izanagi doesn;t stray far from Takana either, and quickly makes his way to the shop.

takana gets into the cafe and makes sure izanagi is behind him

Izanagi heads to the back to change.

The manager is there with a few more new employees, working at a quick crash course of training to get them decent. She nods to Takana and Izanagi when they arrive.

Arakan is sitting at a table in the corner, looking tired. He glances at Takana and Izanagi when they come in. good, that was all of the employees here safely.

Takana glances at arakan, making a mental note of how tired he looks before quickly heading to the kitchen to get the food prepped for their busy day.

Mina makes sure her outfit is perfect, along with kaeru's, making the green haired shrine demon blush a little.

Hikari temps the coffee and tea machines to make sure they are at their correct temperatures.

Arakan checks his phone, looking for updates from anyone.

Izanagi scurries about making sure every table is clean and stocked.

The manager watches everyone work, instructing the couple of newer people and watching the clock for when they're supposed to open. " alright, everyone ready?"

Mina bounces happily, "yes!"

Kaeru gives a hesitant nod, "i- i think so."

Hikari gets her cups in position, "good to go."

Takana peeks his head to look at the manager, "everything is good to go in the kitchen."

The manager nods and unlocks the door, letting customers in and getting them seated.

Arakan gets up and walks over to the drink station and looks at Hikari, " a coffee if you don;t mind. just black."

[MissyLooni]

Hikari nods, "of course." She quickly pours a cup of plain black coffee before handing the cup to him, "here you are."
