she nods, " anytime. now go get things shut down."

hikari nods and quickly heads to the coffee station and starts cleaning up

Izanagi works on getting the remaining customers taken care of and out the door, cleaning tables as well.

Soon Nikiri arrives, expecting the curfew so he came early

Arakan comes soon after, waiting patiently.

Izanagi gets done and changes into his street clothes before going to hug Nikiri, " Nikiri!"

Takana steps out and goes over to nikiri

the other employees go over to arakan.

hikari sticks close to the manager

The manager looks at Arakan, " if it's not too much trouble, i'll go with so Hikari can grab her things before she stays with me."

Arakan blinks and nods, " very well, that deals with the concern i had about her being alone. we can wait for her to get her things and i'll drop you two off after the other girls." he turns and heads out the door, the manager following with everyone else.

hikari and everyone aside from izanagi and takana follow arakan

Nikiri smiles at the boys, "Lets go~" he starts heading towards the boys place

Izanagi happily follows Nikiri, " do you know why the curfew is in effect?"

Arakan leads the girls home, waiting outside Hikari's so she can gather her things.

hikari goes inside and comes back a few minutes later with a backpack of what she has

Nikiri hums, "well we got limited information from that demon but since we know he was C rank we just want to try and make sure anyone under that rank who cant defend themselves are safe. I myself may have to see if the yamamotos know a higher rank demon to watch you two. I would rather do it myself considering the circumstances but I am only C rank because of my families ability otherwise I should just be D rank."

Takana blinks and frowns, "Is your ability that good? what is it?"

Nikiri hums, "we're able to recognize a language as soon as we hear it and are able to speak it fluently. almost like its a switch. very useful when demons dont know the human language since they have thousands of them, including dialects."

Takana nods, "That is useful. i suppose you dont do sign language then?"

Nikiri shakes his head, "No, that involves sight, not sound."

Izanagi nods, " yeah, his family is famous because of the ability. humans even request one of them sometimes for translating meetings with other humans. they don;t really have any offensive abilities though, not inherently like the Yamamotos."

Arakan escorts Hikari and the manager to her flat once the other girls are home. Akari unlocks her door and goes in, directing Hikari to the couch, " here we are, it's not much but it'll do."

Nikiri nods, "Yeah because nothing we do is necessarily a dangerous power the humans tend to be pretty relaxed around us. that also helps when it comes to meetings. But because of that I focused a lot of my life in perfecting my speed and skill with my katana." He freezes, quickly grabbing on to the shoulders of izanagi and Takana to make them stop walking as well.

Takana blinks when he quickly feels nikiri roughly stop him from walking. he is about to ask what the hell was nikiri doing when the smell of sulfur quickly hits his nose

Izanagi stops and makes a confused noise before the smell hits him as well, and freezes. He whimpers softly and tugs at them both towards an alley, hoping to hide again.

Nikiri tucks his arms around both boys tightly before jumping high, gently landing on a fire escape in the alley in hopes of also not being on ground level.

takana had almost yelped however he quickly covered his mouth, not wanting to make any loud sounds

Izanagi makes a small squeak, clinging to Nikiri. He slowly lets go, looking down fearfully.
