"It-it was from a college project in my nanotechnology class. We were supposed to find an everyday item and design a smaller, better version of it that would improve people's lives and i... I chose the collars. I saw them on all the demons around me and they never looked comfortable, I heard they failed a lot, and I thought that would be a decent thing to work on... um..." He looks back at the laptop screen, his ears drooping, "but I ended up failing it myself when I realized that it wasn't really appropriate, and put it in my folder with all of the other things I designed that were a failure. Someone must have taken the folder when I was kicked out..."

The temps raise a little as Arakan studies him for a long moment, " ...very well. move onto the next item." he wasn;t entirely certain he believed it, but he had no proof contrary. And for the moment it was more important to continue going through this information.

Takana sighs, now depressed thinking about it. It was the truth, entirely in fact, but the thought of his family stealing his designs, flawed or not, really made his stomach churn.
"I'm... going to look at the contract that my stolen schematic references since I'd kinda would like to know what the hell they are doing with it."

He opens the contract and reads through it, "the 7th district will be compensated for the purchase of lower class products in which will be tested with the new MicroMini also known as their new microchipped collar? What does that mean?"

Arakan frowns, " im not certain. i will need to ask someone with more technical know how. i presume it means that they'll be paid to test the products on their citizens, which i hope not."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs and frowns, "well it looks like they at least plan on testing the chip before rolling it out which... isn't ideal but it's better than just...making everyone have it without at least seeing what it does. Hopefully they'll make it... optional to the collar and then you can just not do the chip."

Arakan decides not to add his doubts to that. " well, it's good information anyway. next?"

Takana goes back to the files and returns to going through the schematics, pausing when they get to an assortment of profiles of different high class demons with info on who they are, what are their ranks and what their powers and weaknesses are, arakan and his parents also on the list

Arakan frowns, " our specialties aren't exactly secret, but this compilation... they've been gathering this data for awhile. i'll consider that later. continue."

Takana frowns, feeling slightly unnerved at this information before moving on. The next file listed details what Kashi wants in a potential mate, "Rank, not important, gender, not important, attraction level must be... at least an 8? An 8 out of what?" Takana frowns as he reads through, "he apparently just wants someone unique and attractive enough to fuck and that's it? How shallow."

Arakan snorts, " somehow im not surprised. what little i've heard of him is not flattering. it doesn't really matter who he takes as a mate i suppose since as long as he has a child, the powers will transfer to his heir. so it's not important for his lineage to be careful about their mates. continue."

Takana nods and clicks through, this time find profile pages of different looking demons, their names, age, rank, a photo,  what district they are from and why Koshi had them as a potential target.
Most of the demons takana had never seen until he got to a small chunk of profiles that included Mina, izanagi, and himself.
Mina's profile stated she had huge boobs and looked easy to manipulate.
Izanagi's profile stated he was a slut and probably enjoy being fucked all the time.
And Takana's own profile stated he was pink, cute, and how Koshi couldn't find any information about him aside from the fact that Arakan seems to stick by him so he must be important enough.
Takana pulled his hand away from the mouse when he saw the photo used in his profile.  It was taken recently. It had him, izanagi, and kaiten, more than likely walking to work.

Arakan snorts softly as he reads the profiles, " well, he's got Mina and Izanagi down. This is a recent photo though, he must have people in our district working for him... this is unsettling. all the more reason this needs to stay between you and I. And this is why i've kept such close guard on you."

Takana looks at arakan, "yeah but from the sounds of it you guarding me so much caught his attention."

Arakan shrugs, " and if i did not, then he may have taken interest regardless and you would be vulnerable."

takana sighs, "i doubt anyone would kidnap me just because im pink."
