Arakan chuckles, " no promises, normal crap along with all the drama from the surprise inspection and demons hounding me about letting a human into the district? im up to my ears in shit to deal with. but i'll be there when i can." he runs a hand through his hair and waves a bit before heading out of the cafe.


Izanagi inches closer to the kitchen, " soooooo what was that all about? i saw you and mr ice prince chatting it up for quite awhile."

Takana waves goodbye to arakan, quickly lowering his hand and looking busy when izanagi pops in, "oh uh hey. We weren't talking about anything much.... um... you may want to take a serving of food home or see if nikiri is free for a few hours tonight. I will be having dinner with arakan. It's nothing serious so don't even start. It's probably just a thank you meal or something since Isabelle is going to try to help you guys out with food and economy stuff. "

Izanagi's eyes widen, " oh my god, you guys are totally gonna bone! you gotta tell me EVERYTHING. also can i have some ramen to take home?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana turns deep red and glares at izanagi, "We're NOT gonna bone!! Its JUST dinner! And- i mean- yeah I can make you up some ramen before our shift ends but just dont assume im gonna fuck him! He's not like that! He's an actual gentleman."

Izanagi snickers, " he NEVER asks people out. seriously, he doesn't want to show favor to anyone so he's super careful. i've tried sooooo many times to get into his pants. you guys are TOTALLY gonna bone."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears flatten, "SHUSH or im making your ramen super spicy!!"

Izanagi rolls his eyes, " alright fine, you're not gonna bone. you still totally need to give me all the details of your non-boning afterwards." he flounces off.

takana huffs softly before going back to work, hoping that being busy will take his mind off of the fact that izanagi thought sex was going to happen

Izanagi goes back to work, stuck between excited for takana and sad that Nikiri left.

work goes by with no other crazy incident and takana wraps up the evening with a container of ramen for izanagi.
he felt a little nervous about his dinner with arakan. is this a date? is it just a meal between friends? what if he tried to initiate something and arakan got mad at him.... this was getting to be too much

Izanagi finishes cleaning up and comes into the back to grab his ramen and head home with Takana, " are you excited~?"

Takana hands izanagi the food, looking at the ground as they walk,  "I won't lie, I am nervous. But not because of the whole sex thing because we aren't going to have sex. It's just dinner at his place. And he's just being nice because I went and opened my big mouth about being lonely here."

Izanagi rolls his eyes, " what's the point if you guys don't have sex? He's been protecting you for ages now, and you think he has no interest?"

Takana's ears flatten a bit and he sighs, "I don't want to assume that just because he's nice to me he wants to bone me. I don't think that highly of myself."

Izanagi groans, " you're so boooooring. seriously, both of you need to get laid."
