Arakan nods and heads out of the apartment, walking towards his own home.

Takana follows closely behind arakan, looking around, anywhere but his face.

Arakan raises an eyebrow as they walk, " if you've changed your mind I will not hold you obligated to dine with me."

[MissyLooni]

Takana glances at arakan and sighs, "I want to. I just.... you have a cut on your face. Are you okay?"

[Namari]

Arakan blinks then chuckles, " I'm fine. There was some... Particularly insistent dissent against my way of running things right now. My leadership was brought into question, and I had to show I still had the strength to lead. Your concern is refreshing though." He reaches over to ruffle Takanas hair.

[MissyLooni]

Takana flattens his ears when arakan ruffles his hair, not out of anger, just keeping them out of the way of the ruffling, "that only happened though because you let a human in... i... I do hope that everything Isabelle has planned for us goes well enough to also satiate those who question you. In glad you won but I also don't like that anyone got close enough to even get a scratch in."

Arakan smiles, " they would have questioned my leadership at some point anyway, it's just kind of how things go as a new leader is taking over. i'll get injured now and then until im accepted totally. im still coming into my own strength and changing things can be hard for some."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "I guess... I just wish your face didn't get scratched. But I'm glad that seems to be the only injury."

[Namari]

Arakan shrugs, " i got cut a few other places, nothing serious though. it's been awhile since i've faced anyone so i think they haven't realized i've still been growing into my strength. he was utterly outclassed."

[MissyLooni]

Takana hums softly, "well I guess it's a good thing I wasn't there to watch. I probably would have been a distraction. Although I am a little disappointed I couldn't watch you kick the utter shit out of someone."

[Namari]

Arakan laughs softly, " yes, you probably would have distracted me, though i don't doubt i would have still won. perhaps next time. i have no doubt there will be more that disagree with working with humans." he opens the door and stands aside for him once they reach his place. " i've had meat nixed from your part of the meal since i noticed you're not fond of organ meats. hopefully it's at least tolerable."

Takana rubs the back of his head and chuckles, "Yeah sorry, the liver and all that kinda weird me out. I would have still dealt with it since I know it won't kill me but it's not something I grew up on. I'm sure whatever it is I'll be fine with." He enters arakans home, blushing slightly when he hears arakan laugh

" well you won't have to, it's a stew type meal. lentils and some vegetables. nothing too fancy." he leads the way and gestures to the table before going to another room, grabbing a couple bowls of the already made food and bringing it back out, setting one down for him and sitting with his own.

Takana's ears perk up a bit as he sits down, "ooo lentils are good." He smiles when arakan sits down, "thank you."

Arakan nods, " well at the very least they're fairly cheap and we can get them dried in good amounts, so good non meat protein." he digs into his portion, hungry after the fight earlier.
